I had that box with drawers when I was a fourth grade teacher. It was an incentive for giving out Highlight magazine order forms to the kids. The number you got back from them determined the teacher gift options. I always had a few kids end up ordering the magazine, but majority did not get it. That box was filled with a bunch of reward stickers. I used it for years and just added new stickers to it.

Suggestion! Next time, consider picking up nice yard bundles. As I saw a lot that you passed up. You can sell it in lots of 5 or 6 for about $25-30. You also missed a clean pair of Crocs. Love the hunt!!

I am always amazed at how much you find. I am in Vancouver and I know you’ve been to our bins. I am a newbie reseller but have been going to the bins since it was still in the back of our Goodwill store. The resellers at our location are hardcore and can empty a bin in 5 min, it’s tough pickins here, lol.

Oh yea for sure! I think a lot of people’s method is to scoop and dump. They just take a tonnnnn from new bins pick through it in their cart and then throw the rest back. It’s an interesting method but seems popular 😂😂

There is also a project in school called the plant project, where the kids have to press the plants and put them in an album and identify them.

Yep. My grandma had a huge flower garden, and put all of her large heavy books to work pressing the flowers between paper towels in the pages. Once dry and pressed, the flowers were used to make pretty bookmarks, notecards, and she framed them under glass. I absolutely appreciate that being a great learning experience for a class!

I live in London Ontario Canada and the Goodwill bin store her has hardly any shoes , if those bins were here in London they would be so empty so fast !!!

Wow, we have bins in Ontario, we had 2 Goodwill Stores in Barrie, they unionized and Goodwill closed both stores.
