I've been in Malaysia for almost 10 years, but the reality has changed. Malaysian people exhibit racism; they don't seem to favor Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Indians. Malaysia is not a peaceful country; there are numerous gangs. As a foreigner, dealing with the police is a significant issue. Regardless of whether you are legal or illegal, you often have to pay money. Regarding jobs, you're generally limited to finding labor jobs with low wages. Office jobs are hard to come by, and they are typically reserved for Malaysians or Permanent Residents (PR). Hence, it's best to share our own experiences based on where we live and the situations we're familiar with.

Zeeshan bhai i just checked Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Visa Requirements, and once again let me correct you that the updated requirements for Applicants under the age of 50 must prove that they have a minimum of 500,000 MR ($120,000) in liquid assets and with a required fixed deposit or passive investment of 300,000 MR ($72,000). Applicants over 50 only need to prove that they have 350,000 MR ($84,000) in liquid assets and make a passive investment of 150,000 MR ($36,000). So plz plz try to check out the latest updates on requirements for such visas, as many people are watching and following your videos. Thanks

I worked in MY for almost 3 years starting from 2019 to 2023. If you're in IT then it's a big opportunity for you. I usually enjoyed living in my apartment and having all the utilities. I literally enjoyed living there. 2000 RM per month is enough to live a luxurious life with 1bhk rent =1000RM + Electricity and Water=100RM + Internet =100RM + Food and Outing =800-1000RM. Just don't involve in political or other things. Earn and enjoy your life. I lived in Cyberjaya in Dpulze Apartment which has a mall in it. I really liked MY, the only things is rain is unpredictable and humidity is there.

Update Info regarding MM2H: (it is not 150k but you need 15 lac ringit !!! ) The MM2H visa is a long-term visa that allows you to live in Malaysia permanently. You can apply for the MM2H visa if you meet the following requirements: You are at least 35 years old. You have a minimum offshore monthly income of RM40,000 (about US$10,000). You have a minimum liquid asset of RM1,500,000 (about US$375,000). You have a valid passport that is valid for at least 6 months. You have no criminal record. You are in good health. You are able to support yourself financially in Malaysia.

Kindly note that Malaysia doesn't give permanent residency. It only gives 10 years valid visa on Malaysia My Second Home program, just like Dubai's Golden Visa. And it may discontinue again like they did in past and relaunched after covid to attract people to deposit money in this program.
