i don’t know if you bought your dresser from ikea but anytime i built something from Ikea, i always look up building videos on youtube first. gives me a good idea of what i’m doing before looking at the instructions and sometimes they give you suggestions in the video too… the whole time you were building it i was cheering you on!

Girl I promise you with the running most people say they hate running because they are only doing a couples miles or less when they do. And if they are inconsistent with that yeah it generally sucks. However, once you get halfway through that marathon training your mind will shift. You will crave the runs. The runners high is 100% a thing! I played intensive soccer my whole life, but it is very different from just straight running which I was never a fan of. I'd run 2-3 miles a couple times a week because I had to stay in shape. Training for my first half marathon I had the same mentality as you, I just wanted to accomplish something great. It wasn't until I got past my 6 mile "long run" mark (which for me was like halfway through a 12 week training program I used) that it got easier. From that point on the short runs were a breeze and over so fast and the long runs I started to experience the runners high. 8, 9, 10, etc miles (as long as I kept my pace correct and didn't go too fast and burnout) I felt like I could run forever. Stick with it until you hit that place with your fitness, I promise you will get there. It's slightly brutal mentally until you do, but seriously just push through, it will be worth it!

I’m a runner and here’s some advice you don’t have to take but maybe it’ll help. if you want to run the half marathon make sure you don’t try and run too many miles your first week if you’re not used to it, just gradually add more miles and don’t increase mileage by a lot each week or you could get hurt good luck🫶
