Hey guys, love your videos! I too am a thrift store, flea market and yard sale junkie! I could just watch this type of stuff all day, nothing better than the thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of finding gems in the wild! Keep hunting, keep having fun and keep posting! Cheers

Thanks so much for watching Shawn! We've been store owners for 8 years now but started out thrifting just like this! It's still in our DNA to go back to where we started. Thrill of the hunt is still alive! Thanks for watching

Hey guys, great video! I would love to come to your shop and look at all the vinyl records and meet you guys in person but unfortunately I live four hours away in Virginia Beach! We have three great record shops in Virginia Beach! Vinyl Daze, Birdland & AFK Books and Records! We also have the Virginia Beach Antique Mall, and a 2nd & Charles store! So I've got plenty of places to go crate digging! Lol! I'm 55 and I have been collecting since 1979 when I was 12 years old! Growing up in that time period I am very into 70's Disco, 80's New Wave & Synth Pop, 80's & 90's Freestyle, 90's House Music and 00's Vocal Trance! Basically anything that will get people up on the dancefloor! Lol! Have a great week guys!

Seeing vinyl priced that much at thrift stores/flea markets kinda ticks me off. The people who priced those must not understand how much they are really worth. That Last Call LP was way over the limit.

Yeah it's a crazy market out there! I wish it was cheaper. I would have snagged it for my collection! -Mark

I use to go on road trips back when I lived in VA, so I know this mall. I think the best thing I found there was a record by the Cramps, but it was priced accordingly. You'd probably find stuff in Adamstown, PA, where the street is lined with antique malls and indoor fleas. Happy hunting. PS: Nice scores with the Patsy Cline and Suzi Quatro.

Hey I really dig your videos. I just found your channel recently. I'm a major vinyl collector who's worked for 17 years for a major record chain here in Michigan called Harmony House. I love to search out hard to find records for my personal collection. I was wondering if you'd ever come across a 1983 record called "Betrayer of Kings" by a rather osbourne Michigan metal band called "Salem's Wych " ??? I have my own podcast style show on Utube called Motor City Rock Talk where I interview artists and bands from Michigan and the Detroit Metropolitan area from the 60's through today... anyway if you have this record I'd love to buy it from you along with some other stuff I'm sure you have. Anyway keep the videos coming and cheers 🍻

Around 3.23. If you look hard you should recognize mr rickenbacker 360. Probably worth at least 20 or so if in decent shape. Roger plays banjo

Was that a Chuck Norris album at 21m? Haha I sure hope so and it’s just 40 minutes of sound effects of him working out kickin stuff.

Thrift store records at records store prices! Bad!

Totally! I'll never price bash a record shop. (They have overheads, employees, and 90% of the time the product is great and guaranteed) but this was like the wild west! Dirty, warped, beat up, and still salty! Lol thanks for watching ✌

I avoid those Curtis Knight Hendrix records, unless they're super cheap. His names on the sleeve, but he was just a guy in the band really. Hendrix fans don't rate them. Some cool stuff in this place, but those fughin prices! No wonder it's fully loaded, no real bargains, they've already punched up the hipster prices. Nightmare place, warped Bowie album $12 😁, all those other trashed records. They should chuck it away, terrible sellers. Just think about how little they care about the customer in relation to that... Ps I'm 52, old UK punker, and have a record store btw. You guys seem to have a great attitude, 'vintage' stores like this don't deserve you. 😁

That poor Bowie at $12 🤣 I almost considered buying it just to try it in our vinyl flattener machine and attempt to save another Bowie haha. Thanks so much for watching and the kind words. Yes this place was TOUGH to find any relatively good snags lol. I was diggin deeeeep. Haha Good luck with your store and thanks for the nice comment. Means alot ✌

@@BacktotheMedia it's all good fun. The thrill of the chase... Best wishes to you and your family, Hope your store is doing well... Currently, I have a guy selling me his thrash metal collection piecemeal (a few at a time) at the moment. Great stuff (Slayer,, Venom, Sepultura, Carcass etc) but I'm having to pay up, to double up... 😁 Ps Red Rockers were a genuine USA punk band early doors. First 7" is a $100/$150 record, debut album about $40 . They were very Clash sounding, from New Orleans.... Unfortunately they wimped out too quickly.

@@BacktotheMedia yep. Now it's all okay. I really like watching your videos. By the way I would like to ask how much vinyls do you have in your collection and when have you started collecting them. I have around 820 records and I have started to collecting them in 2017 when I was 17 years old. Sending regards to you and your family from Poland 🇵🇱

@@maksbasta24 Thanks for the kind words and subscribing! I'm 36 and started collecting when I was 16. I started with buying records i wanted the most then (mostly punk and metal) then got into retro video game collecting for awhile then came back hard into vinyl collecting about 8 years ago. I have about 3500 records in my collection and about 20,000 records in our store. Thanks for watching! -Mark
