Hoo! Thanks so much for all your help! I followed what you did in the first setup, but used only one decoy. I managed to get 6 turkeys in total, and even got a 62 scoring Tom! Great videos!

I'm pretty sure why you don't drop kill some Turkeys is because the arrow hits the wing, I've noticed that a few times.

HooCairs...I have been trying to locate Turkeys in order to do a Let's Play for my viewers, but I do not have the funds to appropriate any decoys at this time. What's the best method for hunting these guys without the availability of decoys?

In my experience, if you shoot them with the bow as soon as you see them/in range, you avoid the mass spook that a bad shot causes. Nice setup tho!

can you spot animals from further away with binos or scopes that have a higher magnifying? like would i be able to spot from further away with the standard binos or the bino rangefinder then with the x5 one-eye rangefinder?

Great video HooCairs. Your entire "Let's Hunt" video series is very entertaining and very informative. I notice you didn't use the turkey locator caller. Is it not practical or beneficial to use? In a future video, I would like to request the use of the longbow. I watched your longbow video, but I still can't sight it to the ideal range (~20m) you demonstrated for a successful hit. I wonder if the mechanics for the longbow have changed since you made the video, and that range is no longer valid. Thanks again and great work with your videos.

JamboWhoDat I am not a big fan of that locator caller. It is supposed to make toms respond, but most don't, and instead I am getting responses from hens. The longbow aiming changed and I don't think my video is still accurate.

I have a question for you regarding the scoring info on the top right of the screen. I noticed that the info is not accurate for me when hunting Turkeys (this is very frustrating). For example, the scoring range shows 30-45, but when harvesting the Turkey It turns out to be 68. Is this a glitch, or Is It inaccurate because of the skill level ? My turkey spotting skill level is 17.

+RarPcGaming It is a very old bug. Really annoying. EW looked into this so time ago but couldn't fix it. No matter what level you have, the final score/weight must always be within the shown boundaries. At lower levels the boundaries are just a lot wider.

i hope this is how i can get to talk with you,i'm trying to kill male turkey,i bought the Ghillie Suit and they still see me 20 to 25 m's away how do you get them in to kill them at 13m thanks

Lay flat on a road and keep calling. You can shoot them within 13.5m that way. Make sure to shoot the head with the .22 though or it won't die. There is an issue currently with the .22 ammo. What also works by the way is call the turkey to a constructable tower. Under 13.5m is possible but very tight.
