Nice video. To be honest, I was sure they do flee if they detect you from far enough. Surely perfectly valid tactics, exploiting game's mechanics. However I'm a little bit a roleplayer, hence I wouldn't really like to be attacked by one IRL ;) So I prefer some more stealth anyway (however to be succesful with a crossbow, as I was hunting them recently, one needs to be about 30 meters for double lung shot, and they seems to detect you at that point if you actively approaching them by crouching). And I wouldn't say, that they are slow - when it comes to roaming. It's really hard to keep up if you try to crouch. With walking this is more managable. Of course, as You've presented, you can simply run. ;) But as I wrote, I try to stay undetected. :) Anyway, thx. for video, and good virtual hunting! :)

@@HooCairs Like all great youtube figures you've developed your own personality that comes through your videos. You're like the 2nd Doc, but you actually say more than just _"I heard you had a bit of trouble finding an animal you winged out there..."_ I certainly developed way more interest in exploring the possibilities in the Hunter thanks to you than if I just dabbled with it by myself. I watch you hunt animals I have zero interest in hunting just to see how you approach it, and of course the humourous things you say on occasion.

Thank you for the vid. I have a question. Do wounded animals scare easier, even though they aren't in scared state? Or it is just about good trophy animals? Then my second question, is running really viable against high scoring buffalos? They seem to flee quite often.

The difference that I see with wounded animals is only with bison and water buffalo. They stop attacking. For all other animals I cannot remember seeing a difference.

Hi Hoocairs, do you know if there is a fps cap on the hunter classic ? I have a 144mz monitor and i am trying to get above 60fps, but this game won't. Update: I got it working. Windowed mode got me to 144fps and a couple tweaks in game settings.
