In English sometimes we use the word "very" to emphasize things. You can say a person is very rich, or you can say they are wealthy. In this English lesson I'll help you learn English words that you can use in place of phrases with "very". I'll help you expand your vocabulary.
In this English lesson you'll learn words like: spacious, intelligent, bustling, frail, wicked, excellent, wealthy, basic, timid, brief, terrifying, excruciating, transparent, ancient, deafening, rare, sweltering, and many more!
I hope you enjoy this free English class about words you can use instead of a phrase with "very". Have a great day!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

"I love living in spacious houses!" she exclaimed. "Sooner or later, you will also live in a bustling city like this," he sighed. "I'm not yet frail," he hissed. "Gerald, you're super timid about her," she said. "I felt an excruciating pain in my left leg and fell down out of breath." "The noises flowed into an utterly deafening performance outside." "Be ready it's sweltering here!" I learned seven more cool alternatives thanks to this marvelous video. Thank you so much, Bob! Best regards from Ukraine! Much obliged and keep it up!

That kid in the picture "awful" looks good on his plaid shirt just like you.😉 Could be your future grandson?? Anyway, perfect lesson cause English learners tend to stuck with convenience words like good/bad/very/big ...at least me😅 I gotta use those words to make myself out of an advanced learner, hehe😎 Thanks 😃🌻🌺
