Ah, I finally understand មុខ! It means "course". In English you can say "I'm eating two courses" or "I'm studying two courses".

Hello teacher, how to say and spell “Classifier” in Khmer please?
@nikikinz3 жыл бұрын
Interestingly in English we sometimes talk of "head" of cattle. Eg. "My land runs 5,000 head of cattle".

Would you say a PAIR of trousers is similar to a classifier?
@CrikeyWho3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure, but maybe unit is a better term than classifier. When doing maths it’s often important to specify the units of your variables.

Classifier is a standard grammaar term as far as I understand, but I get your point.
@finnoXkhmer2 жыл бұрын
It is a classifier because you classify the item or object.

I know 'dom' for pipe or roll-shaped objects or 'groab' for small, pellet-like things such as pills as in 'tnak muay groab'= 'one pill'

I would like you to learn plurals in English. "This classifier is used with carS or buildingS " etc. Khmer does not use plurals but they are important in English. You are doing well but your English needs work.
