This takes me back to my Navy Days. (I was in from 1995-2009) I was in Hawaii and a band by the name of Grim Force from Japan was in Hawaii doing an opening for a band I was a "roadie" for at the time. Talked to one of the fellas of Grim Force on music and he told me about X Japan .

Is everyone gasping at the fact this request did NOT come from me???? 😸 Spotify details are not correct....Vanishing Vision was released in 1988 on their independent label, Extasy - it only recently made it's way to Spotify via remix (which I am not crazy about, to be honest) and re-release. And Blue Blood was released in April 1989, not in 1988. Players on this track (and the whole album) are Yoshiki on drums, Taiji (RIP) on bass, Toshi on vocal, Pata and hide (RIP) on twin leads. I am surprised Phantom of Guilt did not sound familiar to you because you did a reaction video to a live performance of it 2 years ago - at my request. 😸 The whole album is basically speed metal....better sounding in its original form and not this remix, in my opinion....and I wish they would have stayed in this vein beyond the Jealousy album instead of getting heavy-handed with ballads. I highly recommend checking out this entire live show which was in support of this album - Kyoto Sports Valley on Sept 4 1988! They even do a Hanoi Rocks song as an encore. It is considered a holy grail for many fans, including myself. I wish with all my might that Yoshiki would dust it off and have it totally upscaled/remastered....I would pay top dollar to have it in perfect condition, but in the meanwhile I treasure my bootleg copy which is better than nothing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/boDOpISOpqdnq9U

@@ShaneDiablo The Matrix is broken! 😹 Add to my list of misrepresentations from Spotify, that isn't even the actual album cover and I am wondering why it was not used. There is actually a "similarity" between the Vanishing Vision cover and the cover of Keel's Lay Down the Law....Keel's album was released 4 years prior to Vanishing Vision (1984 vs. 1988), and all the X guys were fans of Western heavy metal, soooooo....maybe some inspo in play? Just Google images of each and you'll see what I am talking about....
