Dude anytime you get play or slop in the rod end you need to replace it take a new rod an check to see if it has play cause when it is running those harmonics travel up to piston an sleeve an that not good ok . Also i just rebuilt my savage trans with a full steel gear kit I found on ebay and try to find out about the twin engine set up an show videos. When the savage first come out it was one of the best to get with tons of mods.I put swiss bearing in my .25 with the cooling head an a pico carb with pico tune pipe..😎💯✌

it always a good to replace rod pin and bearing on rc engine prolong the life when pinch is still good. rule of thumb.

The crank pin play is from a unbalanced crank which will have an effect on your tune. Just in my experience.

Interesting

@@Nitro_rc_life it happens sometimes but the engine will work ok keep an eye on the play because you don't want the rod to let go inside the engine or just order a new crank

And I seen it a few times in my lower budget engines in my higher end engines like reds I haven't seen it yet I also run alphas and the nova engines and im a basher and they all work great

And don't seal your engine no need and not worth getting rtv inside the engine instead do heat cycles allow the metal to expand and retract and the engine will self seal no need for sealing a engine in my opinion

If it's a nice cnc block motor I would agree but these cast cheap motors tend to leak especially the force engines at the carb throat. My other force .28 needed to be sealed and runs like a monster
