Let's make a 1480s 'fit but make it Gucci

In which I begin with a vintage pattern, draft a completely new pattern, and sew the historicism-packed love child of Gucci and a Domenico Ghirlandaio painting (including a satin-y camicia and heavy-metal renaissance corset, because that's a thing.)

Hi, I know I am pretty late to comment on this video (which is awesome by the way and I love your content!) … just wanted to react to the sleeve - I make theatre/dance costumes and actually with a flatter sleeve cap and the sleeve set in at a bigger angle (even up to 90 degrees at the armpit) it gives you more movement. The smaller the whole armhole the tighter it sits around your arm and doesn’t pull the rest of the garment up. Probably not needed for this particular garment but I thought I might share my experience here. Looking forward to see your channel grow. 🤍
