yeah, I think the bottom is beautiful but it makes her look smaller by height I think? I think she should've made the skirt go a little bit lower (like let the ruffles go 'smoothly' from the waist) since those designs I think are supposed to make you look 'curvier' at the hip.

Hey, I’m sorry but there is no real pattern for this. It was a lot of trial and error, since I’m not a professional seamstress. The corset pattern was from “Aranea Black”, though I believe the website does not exist anymore.

I sewed them together, because I thought it looked more “professional” that way. But not sewing them together is completely fine as well and doesn’t really make that big of a difference, so just do whatever you feel more comfortable with. And making two separate pieces is way more practical in the long run since you can wear them separately😉

Just a tip from someone who wears corsets all the time......Plastic bone does not hold up, you will be replacing it within the year, go with steal bone and steal flex bone.

Yes, thank you. Do you have a tip for where I can buy steal boning? I’m aware that plastic boning doesn’t hold well, but it’s the only one I currently have. Since I’m only going to be wearing this dress a couple of times I’m not too worried, but it would certainly be nice to use better quality boning for future projects ;)

Hi, it’s not regular satin, it’s called “Armani satin”. It is quite thick and structured, so I only used one layer for the outer fabric and one for my lining☺️

Hi, I don’t speak Spanish, so I’m not quite sure if I understood your question, but if you’re asking whether or not you need to put in padding for the cups, then yes you definitely should. I made my own, but you can buy it as well (that would probably be better). I’m not a professional seamstress I do this as a hobby so this is really all the advice I can give you, sorry

@@myriambarajas7324 oh so you mean underwire for the cups? I didn’t use it for this piece specifically, but I did for others. From my experience I can say that generally it does make a difference, but it’s not necessary. If you have a flimsy and light fabric then you should definitely consider putting it in, but if your fabric has some structure, then it’s really not necessary (my opinion).
