Agents is already a solid sub-rogue deck. Can put up like 6 interactions if it combos off, including colossus and krystia if you want.

I have to concur. The Agents is one of my favorite decks because I used to LOVE the counter fairies. Not exactly the same thing, I know, but that’s how I found Agents. As others have said, the support it got makes it a solid rogue deck that can make decent boards even in this meta. I think about bringing the deck back all the time.

Yeah, as an avid Agents player myself the most recent support has made it a really solid rogue deck that can get to Master with enough dedication. That being said, there's a lot of ways to play it (the Spright engine for example has Elf in MD) so it could still make for interesting content!

Buster Blader was my FAVORITE card when I was a kid. I wanted to have it so bad, but obviously you couldn't just buy cards, or at least as a kid I didn't know how to get it. I got back into Yugioh 2 years ago after buying the original buster blader as an adult just to use as a bookmark and then wanting to play it in masteduel. I built this deck today and love it. AND I got blessed with a royal rare Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman. Would love to see a Buster Blader Dragon link deck as well. Great video!

I have a version of dragunity that goes into the buster blader fusion. It doesn't require any of the trap cards because you get into it with muddy mud dragon.

Buster blader runs well with bystials. Also, try using the other destruction sword monsters,they're good as gy and continuous spell/trap stoppers

It’s funny watching Jesse and Sam play Buster Blader when I’ve been fine tuning that deck since 2015. I took a break to play Branded Despia and now I’m playing Kashtira but I’ve been cooking with my old Buster Blader deck on the side. Trying a new approach for a board breaker strategy instead of a heavy hand trap variant that always bricked.

I ran Buster dragon and Fusion Blader in VW for a while. VW can easily make a mudragon synchro and Tzolkin. Tzolkin can summon buster dragon for the cost of setting a card, and Mudragon can fusion himself plus the Tzolkin to make Fusion Buster.

What was the deck list you used?

@@badkarma7457 just a pretty standard Virtual World list. The deck naturally has level 3 & 6 tuners and non-tuners in the main so making tzolkin and mudragon is very easy. As for the extra, the cards needed for the buster lock are Buster Dragon, Fusion Buster, Tzolkin, and Muddy Mudragon. Instead of the buster lock you could also turn the Tzolkin and Mudragon into a Crystal Wing and a Dragoon. Or a Crystal Wing and a Mirrorjade. The amount of stuff Muddy Mudragon is able to cheat out is honestly kinda insane.

Hey Jesse I was working on a lot different Decklists of buster blader and I am glad you showed this deck some love... and I wanted to ask you have you considered a branded version of this since you only lock yourself into fusion on your turn and the traps play around it+ it gives you a lot of good options even turn one and on the crackback being forced to go second... in Addition I used it because you have a lot of ways to get albaz to your hand or field and with the buster dragon you are able to contact-fuse into alba lenatus .... this was the most consistently "good" mixup i figuered over the last few months.

Nah, I believe that the version with Spellcasters is stronger (In this case Horus and/or Magician's Soul), since you can also use the secret village of the wizards and completely prevent your opponent from using Spell's, (even if the opponent puts a spellcaster on the field, he will turn into a dragon) creating the Extreme Buster Lock, the weakness would be against trap decks and/or the opponent using Evenly Matched and going second you would have to depend on Handtraps and/or your Boardbreakers.

I tried that deck out and i really like the buster blader, just the small thing i had to learn is that the newer Buster Blader of destructionsword will always be named buster blader on the field soo sadly u can not protect them with the trap :D and thats sooo stupid in my opinion :D

3:55 I don't think this card will work as expected. The monsters equipped will return to their original typing because they became an "equip spell" making them no longer considered monsters that are being turned into dragons. (but if that does work despite them being made into equip spells, then that's pretty broken) However, "Dragon Buster Destruction Sword" definitely makes that a powerful play that WILL work often.

I'm looking to improve my Fossil deck. Could you try to make a meta version of that deck? It was used in the GX Anime by Jim Crocodile Cook in season 3. The new link 1 blue eyes card works pretty good with buster blader. Summon sage, search welp, link 1 to search field, bonus extra summon welp get prologue link 2 welp. Basically playing 12 prologues (3 sage, welp, prologue and trap trick)

Most if not all of my strong decks rely on dragon monsters one way or another. (well, all except my Traptrixes and my Exodia decks I guess. I really like Dragons if it wasn't obvious from this.) Yet, I'd say that even my Blackwings who love bringing out 4 dragons as an endboard (3 Black Winged Assault Dragon + 1 Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss) would be able to win against this deck if I went first and had combo in hand. At least if I didn't get hit with something like Droll or a well chosen target for an Ash, or a Nibiru. Veiler and Inperm are usually not THAT big of a problem, I can usually dodge them, as they usually hit Sudri or Vata with it when I want to use their on-field effects, and I can just synchro them off, and use their effects later after bringing them back. (it's a 1.5 card combo, starting with Simoon + any 1 blackwing monster, preferably not any of the one of-s, as banishing Orochi ahead of time would cause issues, I'd have to finish without Hot Red. Or if it's Auster, I'd have 1 less options for followup later on. Than again, the Auster issue can be handled quite easily unless my hand isn't flipping terrible that next turn. Blackwings are nothing if not versatyle, and that's one of the reasons why I love them so much.) The reason why I think this'd lose to my Blackwings is that it kind of locks my opponent in terms of how many monster effects they can use. As they'd die to the burn damage from the 4th one. Having Hot Red for a negate, and twin shadow for either a pop 2 monsters option with Silverwind, or an unaffected towers with Full Armor Master is also a nice card, and either that, or another monster effect negate in the form of Chinook is also part of the combo. Sadly, if I want both, I'd have to open one of them, or Vata, or Orochi, or Sudri, or Shamal, or a Black Whirlwind in my starting hand. But let's face it, that's like over half of the deck already. Not opening any of those would be stranger than opening multiple. Still, this looks like a way stronger Buster Blader deck than what I'd ever be able to make myself, as I'm not all that familiar with the archetype. Well, outside of the OG Buster Blader and Dark Paladin, due to obvious anime reasons.
