I sold them at Christmas thanks for the reminder I need to make some more

Oh! The ones I've been selling most recently are in my booth that's in a vendor mall that's not an antique shop. I plan to do about a dozen for my booth at the antique shop. We're moving into tourist season, so I think it's the perfect time to move some mystery merchandise along. 🙂

I want to try them. I have lots of random smalls that I might put in them. 😊

I've sold some. Both bags and boxes. Right now, I have quite a few sitting, so it's time to wrap in new paper and retag. A couple boxes are pretty large so I plan to separate those into two or three boxes each. I've been selling these off and on for a couple of years and they're a great way to move along the odd things that I get in box lots or in stuff from friends that are not worth the time in my opinion to sell individually or aren't my niche. QR code is a great idea! I also need to spend some time working on my social media. Like most everyone, my plate is too full so scheduling time to work on research, tagging merchandise, making surprise boxes, painting furniture, etc. has to become priority if I want my business to continue to grow. Two full time jobs, one being the booth biz, and keeping up with the demands of running a home, whew.....yea.... plate full! Thanks for the video! Great content. 🙂

Thank you! And I completely understand, just one more thing on your ‘to-do’ list. That’s why I enjoy say that this job requires that I go to estate sales and thrift stores, for sourcing right?! At least shopping doesn’t feel like a chore to me.

I do very well with mystery bags, they sell fast. I only charge $5 for 3-5 items and get rid of things that have been too long and things from large lots. I put a clue on the outside and have "do not sell if open" on it. I've done a video on Mystery Jewelry bags and what I put in them if you're interested!

Nice idea you will have to let us know how they go over.

Did you manage to get your sign shared on Canva? If so how can I locate it?

I made mine by having a cookbook, paperback book, a knick knack, and some cookie cutters and some small hand lotion or shampoo and conditioners. Charge 5 for them in bag... first bag stapled shut then folded over and taped with moving tape. Seems to go over well

I would definitely buy one of those!

Hey gal. Great video. How do you keep buyers from peeking and digging around?

Hey! The boxes are super taped, to the point I’m not sure if they can get them open when they purchase them. 🤣 how are you??

@@vintageboothpro I'm doing great, and the booth has really taken off the last few months. I've been making rent before the 15th. I can't sell my glass or china to save my life, but jewelry, watches, and books are flying out of there. And yourself?
@vintageboothpro Жыл бұрын
That’s awesome! I’m glad to hear that about books. How much do you charge? And SAME with glassware.

@@vintageboothpro I get $3-$5 for my books and $2-$8 for the jewelry. On the watches I let EBay be my guide. Most are in the $8-$15 range, though some jump up to the thirties and forties. The important thing is I have next to nothing in this stuff. I get my books free, and have a dollar per item at most in the jewelry and watches. So whatever comes in is almost pure profit. How's your group doing?
