I loved Dollar Theatres. When I was a kid my family would go almost every week. I’ve only seen two movies in Theatres in the last 5 years, the Barbie Movie and Detective Pikachu. It’s just too expensive. For my dollar theatre the movies were ones that had just been taken out of regular theatres but weren’t on VHS yet. Except for that one time they had Forest Gump. That movie was in theatres for an entire year.

I also recently got diagnosed with sleep apnea and started sleeping with a CPAP. OMG it has helped me SO much. It is also genetic so make sure your kids know to keep an eye out on signs. Sleep apnea can also cause weight gain as well, which not a lot of people realize!

Oh yeah. I also had to lease to own. Enough people get it and don’t use it so insurance feels it’s a waste of money. But now that I own it, I don’t have to worry about that. Though my sleep doctors do still look at the stats when I meet with them.

I buy DVDs/BluRays and CDs. It usually comes down to price on music. I prefer CDs, you can rip them and have the digital version easy and you don’t have to worry about it being tied to a certain service (although you can burn albums bought on iTunes and they’ll read as regular CDs with all the meta data). I am incompatible with Spotify or like services. I like what I like and I dislike the idea of paying for music that I may lose access to. For movies/TV shows if I enjoy enough to buy it then I want to own it own it. It’s also a smart thing to do with streaming TV which can just disappear one day. I bought Star Trek Prodigy on Blu-ray and will buy season two if it becomes available because it’s owner has already tried to kill it for tax purposes.

We watch about 80% of our movies on DVDs and Blu-Rays. We can’t afford the streaming platform subscriptions and our internet here is very poor. If we try to watch a movie on a streaming platform, it buffers frequently and it’s very annoying. I hope manufacturers will always make physical movies for people like us to watch movies.

for the shulkers of sand to double chest of TNT, my math was more like- it takes 4 stacks of sand to make a stack of TNT, and a shulker has half as much as a double chest, so 4 shulkers of sand makes a chest of TNT, then double it

You can go into the thousands and manage big unconfortable numbers, or say: 1 TNT = 4 sand. 1 double chest = 2 shulkers. 1 double chest of TNT = 2 shulkers per double chest x 4 sand per TNT. 2 x 4 = 8 shulkers of sand.

third comment but I had to. So as a disabled person, who has to deal with insurance in america. Insurance here doesn't pay for medical things. My doctor has to fight with them CONSTANTLY to get the things I NEED to survive. Our countries health system is very broken.

Also just last year got diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. On a BiPAP machine, and I’m 20. Unfortunately, I have complex sleep apnea so treatment has not been a night and day for me because even when my airway is open, my brain still says no and I don’t breathe lol.

wrt how many shulkers of sand do you need for 2 double chests of TNT. 1 TNT = 4 sand. 1 stack of TNT = 4 Stacks of Sand. 1 chest of TNT = 4 chests of sand. so therefore 2 chests of TNT = 8 shulkers/chests of Sand. you didnt need to get into the nitty gritty. lol

Movie Theater Talk: 00:18:30 Where I grew up, there was a movie theater about half an hour away that did free kids movies once a week during certain weeks of the summer. My mum used to pop a bag of microwave popcorn at home and buy candy from the dollar tree that existed in the same complex before bringing my sister and I to go see the movie of the week. Shrek was a movie they did every year there, along with Megamind after it came out. I had a lot of good memories with that theater, especially since we didn't get to go to the movie theater very often, and it was almost always for a movie that I found boring back then. That specific theater shut down when I was still a kid, but there was another that was part of the same overarching chain that took up the free kids movies job, even if they showed them less often, they'd usually show the different Shrek movies, in sequence, during school vacations

I prefer the physical media personally. I’ve noticed some movies that are shown on tv have been slightly modified compared to what’s on my discs , and I prefer the originals typically. Ive actually got an entire wall in my house dedicated to storing dvd’s cd’s and old wii/ds games, etc that’s been gathering for at least two decades

Wow, chat went way overboard on the math for how much sand is needed for one double chest of TNT. 1 double chest = 2 shulker boxes The recipe for 1 TNT requires 4 sand So 1 shulker box of TNT would require 4 shulkers of sand 4 * 2 = 8 Why get out the calculator and worry about stack size and such when you can just use logic and simple math in your head?
