In North America we call the horse flower the dandelion. The folklore of this flower is that when it goes to seed if you pick the flower stem it has a ball of white seeds we blow on it and make a wish. I received many bouquets from my children when they were little. It is one of the first spring flowers. Fabulous project. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

I still pick the dandelions when they have a ball of white seeds and blow on it. Funny that you called it a flower when actually the dandelion is a weed. Also, a lot of people pick the dandelions and use the leaves as a salad, even the flowers are edible. TFS! 🇨🇦

Dandelion comes from the French "dent-de-lion," or lion's tooth, named after the jagged shape of the leaves. Beautiful project as always ❤️ I love the fold out.

I loved your explanation of a dandelion. We were recently in England and there was a pub called the Dandy Lion. The picture on it showed a lion all dressed up in his best clothes and a wonderful hat with feathers in it! Your description was pretty accurate!😊. Love the tags too!

See, it’s just the way how you translate it 😜 Through other comments I have found out it’s actually from the French “ dent de lion “ ( pardon my French) 😜 And it means lions tooth . I like our interpretation better 😂👍🏻

You are a clever girl. I use a different foam inker for each color too & they fit in the minis but most of my inks are the regular size. I’ve never thought of sticking a Velcro piece, genius. I am dutch, but have never seen yellow pages like this. My sister is in a yellow time, made her an journal with al kinds of yellow. Thanks for sharing this, not much new to me. But lovely to see. These were found in a thrift shop and I personally don’t like them . Instead of throwing them away I use them as glue pages 👍🏻😊
