Good decision not to trade , and yes 140points straddle doesn't even give protection for 50points move which is like nothing for nifty... And specially on 140points straddle we have to do lot of adjustments which goes in brokerage... I'm trading straddles today, nothing gained much points and lot of adjustments I had to do... So today is like I traded to pay the brokerages..,😂

Sometimes watching is better than trading, if it is risky do paper trading or virtual one

If you are using it for F&O strategies, make sure to place the buy option orders first before placing the future or short/writing option orders. This way you can execute the F&O strategy with the least margin requirement. The sequence of orders wouldn’t matter if you are using this to place an equity basket order or you have sufficient margins to place individual orders. --zerodha

Yes but if the buy order is placed first it will get rejected due to OI limits , once position is entered margin will be the same regardless of how it was entered

I am fairly new to the market and just learning about the options market . Is selling deep otm options (intraday )safe ? With a strict SL , the risk is managed and since we are not carrying any overnight positions , it excludes any black swan event . Is there something Im missing? Would really like to know

yes,sometimes deep otm option prices will get frozen during a sudden move. and when it unfreezes it could be way above your stop loss

Its reward is not really worth the risk. Stop loss is a joke during big market moves, it will get triggered but wont get executed
