Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is the third game in the Castlevania series to be released on the Nintendo DS. It came out on October 21, 2008. This is the first game in the series where the main character is a female protagonist, Shanoa. The game trakes place sometime in the early 1800s and after the events of Symphony of the Night where the Belmont Clan has vanished and organizations need to take measures against Dracula's eventual return. TGhis game was received positively and praised for its difficulty over previous installments.
