In my latest CK2 GoT game, my wife hated me because I respectively acknowledged and legitimized two bastards, and started having children again after our firstborn son reached adulthood. Here's a hint: you can control+Left click on your country to see your demesne and direct vassals plainly. You don't have to use that other, confusing mapmode.
