I have to admit the Holmer DLC is stellar. I really like it. I had the same problem with that Stewart trailer. It's to do with body types on the trailer as many people have already said.

Re Stewart trailer, only yesterday I could not load manure into the manure body. Eventually found out that if the cover is closed on the grain body when you switch to other body type, there is an invisible cover there and it won't load. I switched back to grain body, opened cover, then back to manure body, and it loaded fine. Didn't check to see if the open/close cover key would have done anything on the manure body though.

The reason you were unable to use the Stewart trailer, is because you need to have the flat sides on instead of the, curved sides, (the sides need to be the same as when you use cart muck) hope it works. Ben

Quick question: would you normally have the beacons on in a truck/lorry while driving on the road in the UK? In Australia they aren't usually on unless it is a wide load or they are working on the side of the road.

Good video! I finished up my beet harvest on Sosnovka. It is much faster using the Holmer DLC than the Grimme equipment.

When using the Sugar Beat Harvesters to harvest you are meant to run them in the crab mode so that the weight of the machine is spread out over the land better. The angle means that none of the tyres are running over the same section of land giving it better weight distribution. Probably can't set it to do that on the auto combine mod.

It looks like the auto-combine mod doesn't cut full width when it starts, it's still turning into the crop. When it goes up and down it does full width meaning each time it does this the ends gradually get further out of line.

+daggerwin the trailer has three different settings so yu have to cycle through them till it works and you can use the joystick to move the pipe up and down

To unload chaser into the Stuart trailer u need to: Put out the pipe~use the right mouse button like a telehandler or wheel loader and lower the pipe even more

All storage is linked between the farms not just sugar beets, i believe its the same for all maps.

you know that after you have the pipe out on both holmers you can use the joystick to go up and down

Great two vid's with the Holmer really enjoyed them thanks. this DLC is well worth the money when you look at the amount of work gone in to that harvester alone, yes there not perfect there is some small issues and you could make some changes here and there but i personaly love it a great addiction to FS15.

Daggerwin , in real life most of the farmers use the crab steering when harvesting sugar beet and I think you should try it because giants didn't make it just for fun too ..

Yes, probably most, but not all. I have seen farmers using the beet harvester without crabbing.

the reason the Stewart trailer didn't work is because it has to be on the smallest body type to accept root crops. Also, could you please show all of the in-game prices for the DLC, I was hoping you would do this in your review video but you didn't. Great video nonetheless, keep up the great work :)

Totally off topic, but did you know you can harvest (mow) grass on fields that you don't own on Sandy Bay. Did some today and realised I didn't own the field until I harvested it..lol.You sure we don't need a police force in FS? I know traffic police wont earn much from speeding cars, but 22mph speed limit for tractors may earn a few quid. Got zapped a few years ago by a hand held scanner.

I think you should add some mods to your multiplayer, makes it more fun. Sure some people will miss out, but some people already miss out because the server is full all the time ;-)

+Tanrenth They would need to be mods that are functionally useful rather than just fun. Given they will be present for many months, people will quickly get bored of them, like they did with the classic pack addon. If they do something the standard equipment doesn't do that's great but otherwise people can use them on their own games.

True but he doesn't want to do the paid DLC because some people wouldn't be able to afford them and would end up getting upset/annoyed. A wider beet/potato harvest would be good though to speed harvesting up though.

hi dagger mabey the holmer dlc will only unload into the basegame machinery.So there could an up date for it so it to unload into to the mods and that up date if there is one might have working mirrors.I was stuck so what do you think. Thanks .CB

I seen an tv programme the other day where a policeman had to go to sort out a road crash? And it was not a car that crashed on a bend in the road it was a huge claas tractor very like the one Daggerwin you was using in this video! Somehow the farmer had flipped it over onto it's right hand side on the road? Even worse there was a big animal transport trailer attached to it which was also on it's right hand side!And there was still milk cows in the trailer? The other support services was all there too. They got a vet into check on those poor milk cows? Lucky they all were ok, Bit upset and shaken up but ok? The police and the firemen got a big animal truck up near the back of the overturned trailer and got the milk cows out after the vet said ok? They got them onto the truck and removed them off the farm the farmer who somehow flipped over the tractor and trailer was more worried about the cows than his now wrecked big claas tractor. The police man said her thinks maybe as the trailer went around the bend the cows moved to the right side more and the weight shifted and over went the both of them? As the policeman there then said that tractor alone is worth £80.000p that's one huge mistake to have? They had to get a local mans telehandler to lift the tractor back onto it's now broken wheels ( two where hanging down not out like normal ) Both the tractor and trailer where lifted up onto their wheels and two huge flatbed trucker took them away? So when you see the huge cost of these in game tractors it really is real world prices?
