Like many people are saying, I played this game to death back in the day. I was really good at the stunts- to the point of on almost every track I would get all Large steering wheels and it would do fireworks. Funny story- I must have been about 8 yrs old. I had this novel idea to write Mattel and suggest to them that they should have a contest to see who could build the most unique/cool hot wheels track at home and submit it, and then whoever won would receive every hot wheel track that has been made (like you see happening at the beginning of stunt track driver). Of course I submitted this idea believing I would win and get all the tracks. I was surprised and excited when I got mail from Mattel a little while later. But then disappointed reading it- it was written in a very business-like tone and said something to the effect of "we don't take suggestions from people outside our company." I was mildly crushed and remember throwing the letter in the trash.

+panda hero I don't remember any lava in the sandbox level. You never really go underground anyway, just through the sand castles. Maybe you're thinking of the sequel, Stunt Track Driver 2: Get'n Dirty? I haven't really played that one (or don't remember much if I did), so I couldn't tell you.

It started when a random boy received a bunch of hot wheels stuff so he spent hours building a giant track in the kitchen and another one in his bedroom and one in his mom’s greenhouse and one in the attic and one in his sandbox in the backyard and the last one in his dad’s arcade

You should just be able to just put it into the disc tray, close the disc tray, go to Windows Explorer and go to the CD and look for the "autorun.exe" file, and then just run it.

What did you use to record this game?

I used a program called Fraps. Just keep in mind that it solely uses your CPU to record, so if a game uses a lot of that just to run, it might not work well. This game is old, so it shouldn't be a problem unless you have an old PC.
