Hues and Cues videos drive me nuts because I see everyone agree that a certain color is "violet" when it's the bluest blue that's ever blued. I'm sure it's truly violet in person but never in videos.

Yeah, the top down camera had all the colours looking completely different from the wide camera.

@@AndresIndoril This is why in film they always do a bunch of colour tests with the makeup and props they plan to use; stuff never looks the same on camera as it does in person. Then you've got a whole extra layer of abstraction with your own monitor's colour balance which probably isn't perfect either

This game seems impossible to play online for this reason. Even if everyone is getting the same image of the board, there's no way to calibrate each person's monitor so everyone's seeing the same colors.

The craziest thing to me is everyone agreed the clue "bus" means yellow. I would've thought of blue first, but on the other hand I think "bus" would be a pretty bad clue since there's so many things it could be. That said I'm not American so I've never seen a yellow school bus (or a school bus in general).

I'm German and immediately thought of the stereotypical yellow school bus, as seen on the Simpsons and co. I guess a Brit might've expected red, like the famous double deckers in London?
