when i was playing as the teutonic order I had an empire that controllled 90% of europe and what happened to sweden happened to me, i lost 60% of my land and half my marshalls, my empire was cripped and took me hours just to reclaim all my lost lands there was many casualties and one of the lands was putting lots of pressure onto me from constantinople but i eventually took it back even though it took me two of my best armies to do so.

From the Middle of France to Hungary is bigger than real life Russia? XD You sound canadian so do you know that Russia is bigger than Canada which, in turn, is bigger than Europe? :-P

I'm a Russian Canadian. Yes I'm aware of how big Russia is, it's a joke. Switzerland doesn't become bigger than Russia till much later in the videos.

+Mah-Dry-Bread - Gameplay & Streams! Russia in real life is 1/3 of the landmass on the planet.its impossible for you to become bigger then Russia just by controlling all of Europe

+Hristo Aleksandrov The land mass of the world is 148,940,000 km. The landmass of Russia is 16,377,742 km. That's not even remotely close.

You dont seem to realise that when you march your armies throu other countries, it pisses them off and rapidly degrades the relationship (I think that one is fairly realistic as kingdoms didnt really like other armies marching through their lands) that's why Croatia declared war on you. Althou I will say it's pretty bull how they can march their armires thou your kingdom all day long and nothing happens. It also gives you the false impression that you can do the same. But I think the computers dont get penalty because they dont realise what their doing and they would become confused if they were made to go arround the player's kingdom every time they needed to march somewhere... Another thing is you seem to be playing an early unpatched release of the game, the early release is way too easy. The later releases make it harder to get money and allot more expensive to increase Kingdom Power (mercenaries hire costs are ridiculous), also when you get allot bigger you dont nearly get enought gold as you did before, so it does make it quite harder. The kingdoms also dont declare war so often and they settle for piece and even offer you terms. There's also a ton of bug fixes, the biggest one being the morale thing, wich is nerfed. Basically in the early versions many battles/sieges are over before they even begin because the enemy army panics and flee only after a few seconds of fighting, which is ridiculous and unrealistic, the last patch fixes this and battles are being fought normally as they should. Thats why it was ridicilously easy to conquer everything in the early version of KoH. p.s. also the game was made and developed by a bulgarian team, not british (Black Sea Studios), however they were helped and powered by EA and GameSpy. Well they were at least before they were bought by Crytek in 2008. Oh and I think the papacy stops expanding and conquering like they did in the early release. You had a thought of attacking the papacy at some point, lucky you forgot about that idea, because if you conquer Rome in the papacy you get pretty much hatted and attacked by the entire catholic world later.

Also, if you dont want to participate in a newly declared war (And that enemy kingdom is stubborn and firmly refuses to any peace treaty), then just dont send armies to fight (although this aproach is seen by some as the pussy way out) but it's still way easier. Just sit tight and intercept incoming enemy armies (if there are any) and over time the hostile relations heal up and peace soon follows. And not having an heir to the throne doesn't always mean that the kingdom will collapse and dissolve. (Not to mention asshole neighbors who also gladly steal territory a bit here and there.) If you decide to change the religion of your kingdom this can also lead to this. (ofc not always, it depends.) Spies also have an abbility to kill an enemy king, under the right circumstances. I wonder if that was also put into play to cause this effect? Well I've tried it, and killed the enemy king, but I never seen a kingdom dissolve due to this, but you never know, especially if they have low kingdom power. Spies if hired as a merchant and landlord or builder (all classes you never tried here) can cause mass mayhem in enemy kingdoms including proclaiming independence in a province they were sent to govern. And the funny thing is, sometimes they refuse to give you the keys to the city and are like "FUCK YOU BITCH, THIS IS MY NEW KINGDOM NOW!" and then leave the royal court and become the new king to that tiny city-state.
