Cool. :) I'm that way too. The first episode of a let's play that I ever watched was just to get past one point. I was so interested that I went back and watched the entire series. I even put my playthrough on hold until I caught up with the videos.

There's no debate in Final Fantasy XII. We all know Balthier is the leading man.

And Ashe is the protagonist. The "street rats" have nothing to do with the story, really.

Fran wasted no time knocking down Ashe a peg or two during some of the most memorable scenes in the game. I'm voting Balthier and Fran for main couple. Ashe was just the McGuffin.

Oielvert But it really was Ashe's story. The entire plot focuses around her and her quest. Balthier is in the know of many of the things that are going on behind the scenes. I like the concept of Fran's character, it was just very underdeveloped and that lead to little interest for me in her character. Basically, I was interested in Balthier and Cid and that was pretty much it for that game. I could have cared less about pretty much all of the other characters due to them either not being interesting or not having anything to do with the plot and just being there to be there.

The game didn't tell a perfect story. I chose to ignore Ashe's plot as a player because I couldn't stand her political naïveté. Besides, there are enough side quests in the game to keep you from ever finishing the main storyline.

Oielvert I definitely agree with over abundance of sidequests. Most of t hem were basically kill monster quests anyway. I'd much rather have some kind of story or character development in my sidequests and only do a few of them. I think Chrono Trigger is still the ultimate standard for how to do sidequests.

I have many complaints and problems with Chrono Cross being a bad game isn`t one of them. I personally find it fun and enjoyable enough to over look what problems i do have with it. I still one day want to work on creating a 100% party member file.

I like the game myself. I find some of its problems hard to ignore, but I still like a lot of aspects of the game. Most notably the music. I think Chrono Cross has the best music of any game ever. The graphics are nice and the battle system is interesting, although it takes far too long to do anything in battle in my opinion. It has good points and bad.

This would have been awesome if it had more voices in cutscenes and a new game +. But sadly it doesn't. 😔

I'm good without the voices in this game. The voices we do get aren't all that great, so I'd rather have no voices if the only voices we get aren't very good.

This is my all time favorite game as i weary of emulator si can not play it on my computer but it is one I would love to lp mostly with someone as there are so many characters and my VA is well poor. I can do female voices ok but boy voices meh. but I wanna watch you play this cause it is always nice to see how people play differently form how i did it,

This one is high on my list too. It's one of those lesser known games that was so much more than expectations would typically allow for! :)

@@EvilCronos13 yeah. I picked it up cause i liked the cover art work as on sale and just began playing it. One i had addtions which am really bad at one characters i was ok though I wish they could have done more with the archers. She didn't have addtions and I feel they could have maybe implmented trickshots for it. Idk this at the top of my list for game is would love remake and they wouldn't have to change much. Give Shana addtions in the form of trickshots even the Giant had them she could have too. Second a 31 slot inventory is fine if items can stack at least up to 9 and lastly when you allwo for party switches make dark been able to be removed too. he is useless at one point but you can't switch him out I know he is supposed to be the hero but come on really?those are my gripes everything else would have to remain the same. make it happen Sony! Well maybe more and better VA too lol

For me a friend owned the game and I saw him play and I was hooked to the point where I would borrow disc 1 from him after he finished with it and then played till the end of it and had to wait for him to finish disc 2 to get that one from him next! Shana has many uses aside from her normal attack and while it is off-putting at first, once you get a hang of how to make use of her, she becomes one of the best characters to use early game and even good later on depending on how much you level her up. But this game would benefit from a remaster and some fixes here and there for sure. Too bad I doubt we will ever see that.
