That's the only MG I've never played, and I regret this, just seeing the Running Man ! I was frustrated with the difficulty of the first episode, and I wanted to play MG2 only after having finished MG1... But now that I see these two first LP, I'll go pass above MG1 and go for it as soon as possible ! It is just wonderful ! But kids playing in the battlefield, among mines ?! Yes, they demand to be killed ! You did the right thing, Sabconth ! ~( ^3^ )~

Sab played the entirety of MG1 without ever finding the mine detector and now he beat Running Man without the Gas Mask _what other surprises await us in this playthrough?_ btw, this game fixes the overflowing cards in the inventory, so every 3 cards go back to building one to do...something to the cards..... also don't forget Jacobson is a *animal* specialist and- oh yeah "Red Blaster... He's an elite assassin who likes to blow things up. He'll set booby traps all around to pin his target down, then use those grenades he always carries to finish the job. Snake, give him a taste of his own medicine! He's bound to be hiding behind a wall or something. But you can flush him out with a grenade of your own! ...Over and out." *phew*

Fun facts: in mgs3 after you beat the ladder boss and reach the mountains, repeatedly calling sigint after the hind d conversation leads to a call where big boss says he has an obsession over the hind d. Fun fact 2: singing sand is real. Joke of the day: Sir-Gay-Girl-Look-A-Witch... Haha get it... Sergei Gurlukavich...sighs

Venom Snake acquired only the best hardened soldiers of the cold war world for DiamondDogs/OuterHeaven, He even makes a horse shit on peoples faces whilst ordering a dog to slit their throats if he deems them not strong enough for Diamond Dogs. Makes you wonder why the great real Big Boss of ZanzibarLand decided to send a fucking Running Man to kill Solid.

Red Blaster was using standard issue German Stielhandgranate or Stick Hand Grenade, AKA Potato Masher because these nades used blasts over fragmentation for killing people, but Snake's must be Frag grenades

im back sab. good to know you're playing MG2, i never got around to finish it. also, some fans think that ZL is actually Tselinoyarsk. i believe it because it makes Big Boss' character deeper, but, when i compare Tselinoyarsk and ZL, i find little to no similarity. (I think the area Snake reaches by climbing is the first area of MGS3, the area Big Boss parachutes into.) The only solid evidence i could find was ZL being a nuclear polluted area. what do u think?

Hmm, I never considered if it was Tselinoyarsk, but having looked it up the actual MGS4 Database does indeed say that Zanzibar Land was once known as Tselinoyarsk, and that it seceded from Russia and became an independent state. That's quite something if true, but the MGS4 Database has been known to have some errors so I'd say it's unconfirmed at this point, interesting tidbit though.

Ah, you're not the only one that would like to see the Remake of Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2. But it will never happen due to Konami... Although, they actually planned to do a Remake of MG1 and MG2, during The Phantom Pain development. They wanted to use FoxEngine for this. Or should I say, they "allowed" to use it. Remake propositions came up by fans, and Konami have agreed on it along with Kojima. There was a one rule though - people (fans) that were meant to develop it couldn't get any money from it. Everything was good, it went all smooth, really smooth... Until David Heyter signed up for the project to voice not only Solid Snake, but Big Boss as well. Then, Konami said "enough !", and wiped project. It makes me wonder, what would happen if David wasn't involved. But he's the best Snake, and although Kiefer sounds badass, he was more quiet then Quiet during TPP.
