+kronicOverseer I don't believe that for a second. I'm pretty sure all of the pokemon are apt for all beginner players. There's not really a special trick to using a water type pokemon. Geoff just isn't very good at the game and got a pigmy piplup so that was a double bad in the defense department.

Some of the Pokemon models look really legit and well-textured, but then some of them, like Pontya and Gyarados, are all so blocky and ill-defined. I suppose it has something to do with their size? Anyway, I hope those are just temporary models, and they do eventually get patched to look like all the other Pokemon.

With the shader mod they use, a torch held in the hand casts off ambient light. Unfortunately, it also makes it dark as dicks even when torches are used.

Whats the problem with gen v? Ive played all except johto and the most recent ones and i dont see anything wrong with it. It had some cool stuff like animated sprites and a sweet UI. Also, you cant say all of the pokemon were shit just cause of chandelure. You also had krookodile, golurk, bisharp, volcarona, scolipede, etc. The amount of badass pokemon in that gen definitely outweighed the crappy ones
