Put carpet, glass, or trapdoors down the centre of the factory floor. That way you can keep the lighting the way you like it AND you can prevent mobs from spawning in there. Glass will allow you to look down between each level. Iron trapdoors will give the feel of a floor grate.

I still love the game but it’s been a LONG time since I’ve made a video, people ask me when I’m going to upload again but every time I sit down and start recording I just don’t feel it.
