A lot has happened: They swore they would never play on PC because they were the only ones playing on 360, and later because the Tower of Pimps wasn't in the PC tutorial. Gavin told Jack he couldn't grow a beard because he isn't a disgusting animal. A lot of fans didn't and still don't like women being in the Minecraft videos. And of all the people who have appeared in a Minecraft video, everyone should only be glad about one of them not being in them anymore.

I was engaged when this came out. My first kid is almost 6 and he's just getting into minecraft. We have a shared world and we just take turns on my one account. When he asked to play I hadn't played in like 5 years since it got hard for my old group to play after we all familied. Minecraft is so different now. So's my life. I have less money and less time and more stress, but it's so much better. I thought this video would make me think of the time before I was a dad, but this video makes me think of my son.

Wow I watched this when I was 14 years old fresh into high school, now I’m 23 and I have a full time job with salary and benefits. Another 9 years is going to vanish, then another, then another…and I’ll be sending my own kids off to college. I’d give anything to go back in time to 14 so I can experience this part of my life for the first time. It’s weird to come back after all these years, seeing this again. I was 11 when this came out, I didn’t even know about achievement hunter at the time, it wouldn’t be till a year later that I would find achievement hunter and start watching their videos. I’m 20 now, my life is so different now, I’m such a different person. And now watching this at 3 am and just remembering what life was like long before. It feels so long ago…

It’s been just about 9 years and since then I’ve graduated from high school, graduated from college with 2 degrees, and next week I’ll be graduating with my Master’s degree… time sure does fly by, but I’d give all of it up to go back those 9 years and relive the glory days of waiting every day for a new achievement hunter let’s play.
