I'm really enjoying the series (even though Drolan is very overpowered)! You learned Mark and Recall a very long time ago, but didn't start using them until one of the Telvanni "taught" you the spells you already knew. When NPCs are stuck in unusual positions, such as blocking a hallway or falling off a silt strider platform, you can use the console to fix them. Open the console with the "~" key and enter the command "RA" (without quotes). This should put every nearby NPC back in their original spawn position.

Glad you are enjoying it. Thank you for the information. I appreciate when people have practical information about the mechanics of the game. I have completed the playthrough (just working through the upload backlog) so I won't be able to implement that knowledge in this playthrough, but still good to have for future playthroughs. There's a lot to Morrowind.
