"Biscuit Scouts" sounds like an organization you'd find in this game, honestly

I'm with you re: streaming as a living. It sounds miserable. I remember watching Northernlion like 10 years ago when he was doing Binding of Isaac, and he no joke put out like 8 videos a day. I stopped watching because I didn't have enough free time to follow his stuff. I have no clue how much streamers make, but it better be a whole lot considering the amount of work that goes into making a living off it. And even if it is, it's not for me - I work so that I can enjoy life outside of work. Doing a hobby as work sounds like a real quick way to make me hate the hobby.

Right? It sounds great till you actually look at the logistics of the whole thing. I used to make money on KZbin on my old account, it was enough to basically pay for my internet. I make a little ton Twitch but it's not enough to do anything with. You have to either be putting out new stuff constantly or have so much old stuff that people can find that it covers you that way. I work 40 hours a week at my job, often more. In the summer I gig two or three nights a week, that's another 10-15 hours on top of my job job. Then I've got a house to take care of. I put more time into online stuff and content than I probably should as is. And I'd HATE to replace my job with KZbin/streaming. On top of all the extra time and work it would take to make what I make now, you're basically in the gig economy and if something goes belly up, you're screwed.

@@jasonsgroovemachine Yep. A long time ago I wrote some for an alcohol website. I probably made enough to buy a 6 pack a week, ha.
