It's time for another BMD Pirate DooM episode!😀 Pinkies wearing denim, very fashionable, hope they're not counterfeit. 👖 Also, got a feeling PirateDooMguy doesn't really need an eye patch he, just wants to fit in with everyone else. I still can't get over how good this looks, such an upgrade from the original pirate DooM. Another nice little map, I'm really enjoy this, keep up the good work BigMacDavis. 🙂💛

That already was a great pirate voice acting in the beginning :P You really did sound like a pirate. I do feel a little better than yesterday and a few things I just notice now. 1) Doom guys face is different. With an eyepatch and a mustache. Oh and the bandana. Looks pretty cool. And you did say that yesterday but it has Golden Souls vibes. It is also cool that you have parrots in the game. You said yesterday this is a 32 level megawad. So when it follows the Doom 2 formula than map 15 should lead to secret exits and to maps 31 and 32. Let's see if I am correct. Tomorrow in the stream I guess I will talk about my week. So I guess until tomorrow :)

So I just started playing this today, and for some reason, MAP01 and MAP02 for me show 0 secrets... yet the secret in MAP03 was there. MAP04 had none and MAP05 has 4... wondering how many more maps will be different between our versions lol

@@BigMacDavis 1.0 version here too, on GZDoom v4.12.1, so I'm stumped LOL I asked on the official forum post for the WAD so maybe Darch or someone else there can shed some light. When it showed the first 2 maps as not having any secrets, I was worried that that was going to be the case for ALL the maps😅

@@BigMacDavis Turns out the version I had downloaded was the Beta version, even though the .zip file was named the same thing lol Downloaded a later version and that fixed everything. Time to run those pirate demons through with me cutlass.

Boy this really gives me Duke Nukem Life's a Beach vibes. The tropical themed maps, you're weapons are essentially the same but retextured/modified to fit the theme. You had a super soaker instead of a shotgun etc. The enemies are essentially the same too but only modified a tiny bit to fit the theme. The alien grunts were in swimsuits, pigcops wore sunglasses etc. Neat stuff!
