Someone on Reddit made a good comment about how this episode was good, but not in terms of gitting gud. The best way would be for AH to be more active (e.g. run into gun fights, drop in active zones, etc)

But the way to get better at winning firefights is to practice firefights... they'd die a lot at first if they aren't gud, but they'll get gudder over time as they learn what works and doesn't work, what guns are better in which situations, reaction time, hotkeys, etc. ... then after they get gud at that, they can get gud at the grand strategy of how to get the chicken dinner, by learning when to take risks and when to avoid them, surviving until the end, and being that one four man team in the last house in the tiny white zone when there's only 10 people left (because that fucking team is ALWAYS there, and there's no way they were that gud on purpose, you know what I'm talking about)

The thing is, you don't learn anything from the 25 minutes you spend without seeing another player. you learn from getting into fights, and (probably) dying, because every time you die you can figure out what you did wrong. They need to get gud at fighting anyways, because otherwise they won't be able to get wins. The easiest and quickest way for them to get gud at fighting is to actively seek out fights rather than trying to avoid them.

Okay so you'd rather they pick terrible loot spots, have almost nothing and essentially hide to make it to 20 and under? That 100% is not getting better. Getting better is being able to fight other teams and go to places where your team can actually get loot and have a chance at winning.

For those interested in knowing, the best way to glide distance is to look at the sky immediately upon getting out the plane, steer by compass (way points help) and use your free look to see where you are going and if anyone is around you. Because of the way free look works vs your normal look around, you can have full visibility around you without sacrificing the optimal glide attitude (which is essentially flat as a board....) If you get over your position with enough height, you can then Go straight down holding "w", if you manage to hit 230kph(ish) before the auto deploy line hits, you can let go just as you touch the line, if done right you should drop an extra 50 or 100 feet while your parachute fully opens.

In the british army a rifle or shotgun is reffered to as a "long" firearm (So if you're scouting an area and see enemies with rifles you can report back they had however many long guns rather than caring what they actually are). I don't know if Geoffs army past was showing or just a fluke but when he said "I'd appreciate a long gun of some kind" he was correct.

here's the thing that's vexing me, in the first game where ryan ran out of the zone for gear, everyone should have gone with him. there was no-one there, they could easily have gotten there and back in three minutes, and because no-one was there, there was a load of loot. That's the kind of play that works, and everyone was laying into him.

Get your marks over the right tip of the wing it's the most direct path to your chute point. Also don't fear the blue so much that it hurts your loot the first 2-3 circles won't kill you.

*EDIT: AH, I left some tips below!* What Ryan was saying in this video all made sense; "wait, yall are close to the white zone, just wait for this guy, he has to come to you" (since they were close to the safe zone) "No, lets not take the car" (because it'll cause too much attention in such a small circle) "don't go in the sniper tower, it'll have nothing, just leave" (and then they died in the sniper tower) _His amazing sniper shooting in the last minutes_ Apart from them not really using the third person mode to get an advantage most of the time and them aiming in at close range(with a 4 times -_-) as if it's CoD/BF, they did alright for a second game. *If anyone from AH reads this, here are some tips:* Mini-14 has the least amount of recoil, and with a compensator, you are like a God. Put an Ext. Mag to increase clip. Based on this video, Ryan, try to get a Kar98. You're good with a sniper lol. Easily found at Novo, Georgopol, or Military(though it can spawn anywhere, these are just the main spots). Otherwise get an SKS which can semi fire, but has quite a recoil, but if you get those headshots, you'll be fly. (best with Ext. Quickdraw bc it only has 10 in a clip) Michael, if using a shot gun, at close range, don't aim in like at the end of this video. hold down right mouse and shoot. It's a shot gun, if you're cross hair is on him, you'll get him. No need to aim in. Also, I suggest also finding an AR. M16 is best at close range on burst because if you spam it on burst, it is the fastest firing weapon. Just make sure you are aiming at them. When at further distances, take it off burst firing mode(or auto, whichever gun you have). Jeremy, stop drag looting. They fixed that exploit, it's now faster to just right click the stuff unless you are dragging it straight to the gun. Also, use shift more to turn a red dot/holographic sight into a 2 Times (for a few seconds, while you hold your breath) when going for long distance like you were at those two people who killed Ryan. Use that feature more. Geoff, tell Ryan to take you to the farm. That's where you belong. lmao jk but real talk: just practice. Read all the tips above. Get ya self a long gun. I suggest the m4 for you with as many attachments as you can find for it. _Use the third person as an advantage, you have it for a reason._ When hiding around a wall, use third person to peak the corners. Etc any other time when your hiding behind a wall or tree When ditching the car, dont get out right where you want to camp for a bit. ie: if you are going to a hill with trees, park the car a little bit down the hill before heading into place. Cars attract attention, and if you are near your car, people will be looking at your general area. When the safe zone is small, as much as I hate the idea of it, hide in bushes. Also, a pretty alright spot to land and share between 4 people are the two groups of buildings to the west of school. Everyone who jumps out in this area _usually_ goes to school or the puzzle pieces(apartments). It's also fairly in the center of the map so no matter where the safe zone lands, generally you aren't far from it. After looting here, if y'all still don't have enough loot, head to Atlantis northwest of that area(place flooded with water). People will probably be there but hopefully y'all have enough to kill others by then. Also, check up on what others have and share loot. All Michael had was an olympia and a handgun. :/ (might update if I think of any other tips) EDIT2: Bruh, y'all 15 and 16 year old kids need to chill lmao. Y'all getting butthurt over the simplest things and its dumb. Go outside. Stop being angry at the world. :) EDIT3: lmao @ the ignorant teens on my ass

I think with a lot of them time when they fail its because of poor decision making or not enough competence to set out a plan with the shit they already have. They could of easily won at the end with Ryan and Michael if Ryan would of simply given his assault rifle to Michael and said " your only job with this gun is to cover me. You don't have to hit them, just shoot near them so they won't constantly be peaking me and I can snipe them".
