This is the only car combat game I played as a kid, and I loved it! Played it a bunch with my friends growing up.

I loved this game too just like twisted metal, vigilante 8, critical depth, & other awesome 90's games!

I think Rogue Trip was good, better than TM3, which wasn’t awful, but I still prefer TM2

I think the endings might be worse then TMIII.

playing it like a pro. I remember this game being so freaking hard later on. The only way I was able to enjoy it was with cheats. I still find it fascinating. But I compare it with Vigilante 8 because those were the only car combat games I played back then. I never showed Interest in Twisted Metal. Hope to see the Vigilante 8 game tooooooo...... .

Just curious, would you also consider doing a let’s play Vigilante 8? I enjoyed the game when I was young and had fun doing my own let’s play on it and figure you might enjoy just the same. Especially since you like to add a bit of history to the game by way of development and rumors and such.

@@Fiendly Of all the short lived Twisted Metal competitors I remember Vigilante 8 being the best. Barely any story that I can recall (probably for the best) but one of the things that sticks in my head, hopefully also reality, was it really pushing - at least as far as the PSX could push it - the "destructible environment" that some of the Twisted Metal 2 levels had. It also had one of those "infamous" "controversial" TV commercials.
