such an underrated game...so in depth with so much you can do but on the surface doesn't seem like it however as you dive into the game you realize holy moly is it so much more than what it appears to be...I love this game and took me a long time to figure it all out and once I did I couldn't stop playing and ended up making so many various empires and doing so many different challenges...the wars get epic later on and building your empire really feels like you're building something...it gave me that same feel I had with civ 3 back as a young lad...great stuff and wish it had a sequel or more dlcs

The abstraction of naval units and combat is a real omission. A great game but they need to add proper naval vessels and tactical combat.

Consider the dlc a public test run to see if people are interested in the ocean and maritime features and then the creator will add on top of reception is good
