Actually makes me think more of the Sonic Rush multiplayer. Rush doesn't have alternate costumes, but just feels more similar.

I do like the idea of alternate costumes and honestly I wish they brought that concept back in Generations but it's no big deal, also I love the Eggman costume Knuckles can get in Rivals 2, I honestly think that's the coolest thing in the game, it was ok as a whole but if there's anything I can say I remember loving it's that Espio is finally playable in a 2D Sonic game again and Knuckles' Eggman costume.

Clement, you probably wouldn't have ever gotten all the cards no matter how much time you spent in the game. A good number of cards (costume cards, even) are only available from playing the multiplayer with someone else several times. I had the same problem you did, no one seems to even have a PSP!

I just played the first level in Sonic Rivals 2 for the first time, i played as Sonic so naturally my first card is Princess Elise.

Fortunately Metal sonic doesn't have a storyline bro. How in the earth a creation of Dr Eggman can betray his creator's descendant? Okay, he betrayed Dr Eggman but he had a reason! XD He didn't kill him just like Omega wants to.

I have the feeling this game was based a little on Sonic Aventure 2 multiplayer which is a good thing honestly since it was super fun. However it seems the game wasn't very well desinged so...

i think th only problem i had with the rival series is that there isnt really any speed to be achieved without the dash-- things... it is fun to play just too slow at points...
