I'm so glad you uploaded this I was worried you gave up with subnautica.. Which honestly is fine becuase it's your own choice but personally I love this game and what's even more so, is that your playthrough has now become one of my favourites ever so selfishly Ill admit that I'd love too see you finish this game.. Friendly reminder that the lantern fruit tree is a plant-once-use-forever thing, so you don't have to replant the marblemelons or the bulbo trees :) Also, hatches can usually be placed on all six sides of a base piece.

Sure you only have to plant it once, but you need to spend 5 minutes picking and eating fruit to full up your food and water each time

You will like the lava area. Btw, there is a thermal reactor module for the psychlops you haven't found, it makes the psychlops powercells never need charging since you can go near hot things to charge up, especially in the lava area.

Picked up Subnautica on sale in part from this playthrough! I hope that, if you're looking for other fantastic games to try, you might consider Outer Wilds. It is an exploration/story heavy game with a lot of heart to it I think you would love, but I can't say more as it is very spoiler-sensitive. I hope you consider it!

big tip for prawn suit movment if you grapple infront of u and jump at the end of the grapple with the boost you can get to places so much faster, higly recomend doing this

I think the structural damage at the start occurred because the base was partially loaded in so that the integrity was not good enough, or some issue with logging out when not at the base. Probably a glitch you can't do anything about.

I had base that kept getting breaches and flooding even though it had plenty of reinforcement. Read online it was due to the reinforcement being too far from that area, added a reinforced wall in that room and never had an issue again.

There's a bug that will cause any base outside of simulation distance for too long to just randomly flood. Happens to the lifepod, too. Been in the game for like 8 years lol

Gem I don't know if you are going to see or read this but the grapple hook may be a good tool to use when trying to get back in sunny and I don't think grappling to the sub does any damage either I could be wrong but wanted to maybe be of help

It's not the amount of reinforcements that your base has. My base is at over 100 integrity and it still floods constantly lol
