Thanks, Man Alone! I'm collecting way too many solo games at the moment. However, this seems right up my alley and I've never tried Symbaroum so I took the plunge. Hope to test it out soon. Appreciate you.

This game is on the same shame shelf with other games I bought and never gave much of a shake. Like Shadows of Esteren, they did such a good job of pitching the meta plot and not giving enough in the core book for me to work with, that I feel like I couldnt play the game without investing in the core campaign too. So on the shelf it went.

Forbidden Lands dice spotted lol The Symbaroum game book looks so good - I’ll snag the PDF. Wish they’d adopt it as an official product and produce physical copies. Imagine one of those for each of their game systems as intros to those games.

Symbaroum was the first free league game i bought, or rather chose, thanks to the artwork. The setting has a great atmosphere and if you dig metal i think "imperium dekadenz" nails it personally. They are releasing a second edition somewhere in 2025-2026, most likely combining the core book with the apg along with some overhaul, and possibly solo rules since they are doing that these days.
