Anyone else start getting the feeling that Augustine was Chris? just through her obsession with Frank and making the movie. Could have led her down the path of collecting the occult stuff trying to find out what made him tick? she was oddly compelled to film the victims hand and used the TV in the shop and then was drawn to the projector screen. i do wonder what happens if Fisk chose to go through the screen. Maybe thats how she knew there were different worlds/versions of the film by going through them. Just something I was starting to notice when we saw more versions of Augustine started to resemble Chris. I enjoyed watching this and getting involved. Thanks Fisk!

What I like it that the Entity seemingly manipulates all sorts of timelines, in order to create a gateway to a specific world. All those worlds where things differed - some escaped the ritual, but others failed. It's pot luck, almost. Plus, loved all the Easter eggs, and this story reminded me a little of "Silent Hill 4: The Room", with similarities between Frank Stone and Walter Sullivan. Even Augustine felt a little like Claudia from "Silent Hill 3". I liked it! Good story, good characters, not muddled in spite of the multiverse feel, and works as a standalone, even for people who have not played or been interested in DBD. Enjoyable!

Lil tip for irl survival If you feel like you’re being watched, like there are unknown eyes on you, take yourself seriously. Yes, paranoia and anxiety are real factors. (I wasn’t attacked, I escaped, but I was definitely a lucky one.) If you feel that way, ever, find an employee or even a group of people, and ask them to walk with you back to your car. Or call someone and stay on the line until you are safely home/in the company of others. Do not hang up until you are safe. Most times, it’s nothing. But there could very well be one time it Isn’t nothing. Practice safety for that one time. Please. Humans have an unbelievable ability to sense when eyes are on us. Trust your instincts. If you feel like something is amiss, just err on the side of caution

Oh, it's got enough lore in it to potentially make a book out of (and a thick one at that!). Even at the start, it had the basic premise of a big, all-consuming, cosmic parasite using trials for sustinance, but then it grew more qhen the Tomes were introduced. It's stuffed, with room for interpretation, and every story opens a couple more. You'd be surprised what's in there, even with licensed content.

I had a head ach so I closed my eyes then I heard the generator being fixed and the skill checks and I had flash backs from playing DBD back when I was a bill main before I got some of the other characters. I was fresh to the game and this was back before they added the tutorials so I had to figure out as I played it was fun as hell but not knowing some of the controls made it so much scarier.
