Long have I waited for an indiana jones esque vr experience, and now it seems like that wish will finally become reality.

There already is a game called "Eye of the Temple" but it requires at least a 2x2m playspace. The reason for this is that there is no sliding or teleport movement, movement is entirely achieved by stepping onto moving platforms or rolls that require you to move backwards while the roll rolls forward. I think theres a review on this channel for that.

@@wulf2121 I am aware of that one. And personally I don't feel the vibes I'm looking for. The kind of experience I'm looking for is something akin to that intro to Raiders of the Lost Ark, where Indiana is carefully navigating a temple, identifying traps, stuff like that. And this game feels closer to that experience.

Besies the fact that climbing by grabbing bricks is hard, not using your feet and dangling your legs would be a nightmare

Graphics looks nice, but too much handholding tutorial for me. Btw, what about the boulders ? Did they activate at any point ? I feel I missed something

You can choose your difficulty, easy helps a lot, med less help and hard is no help. The boulder should go onto the pressure plate in the middle at the big door.

Looks neat! I hope they change the dialog box sound before the release version. It's pretty harsh sounding.

Soooo funny ! Not "just throw" easily over your right shoulder.... nooooooo LOL! And "where" can you climb... I laughed really loud ! LOL, great game, smooth movements and sharp graphics! Thank you so much for making these videos! Last week I bought my first VR headset Meta Quest 3 (unfortunately 128Gb :-(((( ). I have some little experience, but I always find the graphics getting blurry as soon as you start to look around or walk. I am more than happy I bought this one and not the PRO of even the PS2, where you are stuck at your docking station. With Meta Quest you free! Don't forget you're in a VR WORLD tho! !! LOL So after seen tutorials , the how to start ... I am very exited to start! A lot of games already installed, probably have to remove. When I remove, can I put it on the headset again later, right?

Hey Ben, quick question for a VR enthusiast like yourself, what do you think of those omnidirectional sliding style treadmills that exist in the market right now? Do you think they’re worth getting? I feel like one would be perfect for a game like this where you can physically walk around the environment.

I've seen this opening demo a long time ago. Wish something more would happen in this game 😢

We have tons of new features added to the demo, Back pack inventory, collect Artifacts, Treasures and Coins. Check points so you can restart near by if you fall. Voice acting for immersive worlds. And revamp of the level so its easier to open the big door, only 3 relics and a pressure plate now. Secret locations and many more. This is a update demo not a new level. Help support the Kick Starter to gain access to early access which is coming soon with lots of new environments. This will help is make even more levels going forward.

It's improved a lot since last year's demo. And it's like a TR game, it's all about searching the way out, exploring, etc.

Here is my take on game play that I saw during our play though. 1. Should have a way better way of storing items ( must take off backpack ) every time to store a item ( to repetitive ). Climbing not bad, though not realistic but it is not real life. Graphics seems from what I have seen are outstanding but could use, like wind effects like sand blowing around. I would add a better Tutorial at the beginning of the game and some kind of story why you are there ( back ground ) and the reason for you looking for object or thing?
