When you drag food to the table, it goes into the table's inventory and won't automatically stock the table. This is on purpose so you control what you are sellimg at any point. By default, auto restock is on, so every so often the game will check the table's inventory for more items to stock the table with and place them automatically. If you want to control what you are selling at any one time, disable this feature and select items manually from the table inventory. Also, almost all small appliances in the game are now live drag-able😂 to your sims' personal inventory so you can use with the food stall. If placed in world not on gridded lot, just click on food stall to place appliances on it. This includes drink trays, the drink tray might have to be empty though to live drag it.

I like this pack. The fortune aspiration that comes with it is actually quite challenging. You have to somehow get a ghost to buy ambrosia from your stand and resurrect themself by eating it! I also turned on the simple living lot challenge so I have to find or grow every ingredient.

I am REALLY liking the sales table for food!! You can use it at home, take it on the road to community lots and even cook dishes at home and sell them on the table! They even included an all brown swatch so people like me who LOVE Historical games can dress it a little without having to get tricksy with decor to disguise the modern look! It took very little fanagaling to cover the sign and voila! Medieval sales table!! Just be careful about leaving your waffle maker unattended as the shopping sims will just walk up and start cooking. I have found that if I just pop it in my inventory in Live mode before I walk away you can keep your table from being hijacked by a punter. The table also has an 'auto-stock' option to restock the table with whatever you put in it. Ngl, I thought you'd LOVE the cupcake hat😆 I think it's adorbs, but probably Barbie and the kids are all that will actually wear it in my games😂

Since I myself love cooking and farming in the Sims this pack was worth it especially when combined with tiny living, cottage living,cc food and surprisingly the supernatural game play I started a rags to riches challenge 2 days ago got my Sim living on a empty lot with 0 funds and she made money selling fish buying a food stall and selling grilled food then I expanded I like that you can sell all food it's great now my Sim moved out of her tiny farm and is living in a bigger farm that I have to furnish she's engaged with Lou who got sick of werewolf life and cured himself and now she's pregnant with his werewolf baby also he's a spellcaster now since sims 4 lore wise werewolves were spellcasters first but yea great pack glad stuff packs are back fuck kits also it's a great way to make money from home that's not painting or crafting

To me, this pack is neither the best or the worst because, not to crazy about CAS items and build/buy is slightly better. One aspect of this pack is the bowl stand mixer to prep ingredients ahead of time where it takes less time to have your sim cook and the pizza oven kicks ass. I don't regret buying it. I had my sim buy items for that realistic feeling then I had my sim woo-hoo with the delivery person.

I was pleased and overwhelmed with the CAS items. Only disappointment for me was that the toddlers got nothing. I think it would have been super cute for them to have aprons. I know they don't cook but just for fun or dress up or even getting messy ☺

Fastest way is to put the food in the tables inventory and it will auto restock. I did the master chef aspiration so my food won't expire. Also the best spot to sell food is oasis springs park. I made 2200. The artful focaccia makes me alot of $$$

Pro tip: everytime you make an yard sales, ALWAYS lock yoir doors. Since the first time we had this type of gameplay I always lock the doors.

Watching you play, it's confirmed for me. I might get this at some point or if there's a sale, but in no rush at the moment. Seems pretty meh unless you really really really like cooking in the sims. I also don't own dine out still, so that's how interested I am, lol.

I really enjoy this pack but it is right up my game style. I love to make family game play and having more food to cook and a very convenient way to make money while doing so is nice. Plus I love that it can make your game play more difficult with the simple living pack.

Also for the issue around 13:00 - after I collect the food and it goes in my sim’s inventory, I click on the table, select open, drag the food from my sim’s inventory to the table’s inventory, then click stock table. All the food appears

It will let me drag my Sim's knitting into the stall to sell but there is one item that is of poor quality and it won't let me put that into the stall. I don't know why but I need a poor item quality sold at $100 to complete one of the new aspirations. I can't seem to find anyone who can make something that is poor quality that I can sell 😔 Not even those who have poor skills. If anyone has any tips please help! Thank you.

I thought the pack was alright. It’s cute that your sims can have a little food stall now but it’s not amazing by any means. Then again, it’s not a bad pack either. Definitely agree with you on the opinion that it’s not a NEEDED pack to get unless you are really into cooking on the sims

I really like this pack! I’m having a lot of fun with it. Right now I’m playing with a young adult and her child sister who she has guardianship over and they had a barebones starter house and pretty much no money. So the older sister has been baking to earn money and every once in a while I have the younger sister tend the table so the older sister can fix her needs. I usually sell right in their front yard but I did have them go to a festival once and take the stand with them and I love that idea of being able to set up shop anywhere!

15:38 that's not because of the pack. It's the result of any sale you make on your home lot using any of the sales tables. As long as you start a sale on your lot, npc's treat the lot as if they're on a community lot.

I realised using the cook book takes less time for the UI to generate the meals, the fridge takes forever to load and the oven a bit more. Which tend to happen the more you unlock recipes overtime. So it has a purpose for some reason lmao.

I wonder if you can put the pizza oven or waffle maker in the dorms in Discovery University? This looks like fun, but I always love cooking (irl and the Sims) and gardening (same) so I will probably get it when they have another sale. As well as the Crystals pack, I love all the stars/moon/sun items and it just seems like fun and it’s different than painting forever (cause I’m always doing rags to riches, lol)

Another way to add to the table's stock? If you open the table menu, there's an option to open the stand like a refrigerator, then just move the items to the table from the sim's inventory to the table's inventory. But, I can not understand how the appliances have electricity when you're not on a lot. I'm assuming that the owners of the lots don't mind giving away their electricity for free. Major LOL!

Apparently if you make the dough ahead of time, it cuts down the time of making rhe pizza and stuff. And if you mark up your price too much, less sims will come to your stall.

I'm actually surprised that Maxis went through the trouble of coming up with the name Home Chef Hustle. Usually, they do the least amount of work for the greatest payout. But then again, this is a Hustle for more money. So, coming up with a name that has the word "Hustle" in it. Allows the people with half a brain to catch on to the connection. Major LOL!

Wait I have an idea! What if you used this table for nefarious deeds? I’m not sure of the limitations of this table, but what if you made or collected poorly made puffer fish and sold it to sims? It might not do anything if they purchase and leave but if they eat it there it could lead to some evil deeds.

I have mixed feelings about this pack. On one hand I'm really happy that stuff packs are back. The gameplay looks really good and a good amount of it. But equally I feel a bit disappointed that its a pack about food and kitchens. I just feel that there is a lot of kitchen things in the game given in each pack anyway. I shall still buy it because I am a console player and I love all new content, I'm just not sure how much I shall use it.
