LoL, yes! I played this in early to mid 00's and learned a lot of English vocabulary (and some Greek mythology) from it. Very quotable and memorable because it's so funny!

I've got Pharaoh and Cleopatra, dug out of my bedroom, and recently put them on my new computer. Works fine on Windows 7 for me, I assume the others are roughly the same. Awesome games :)

fun fact: if you build and man a tower near the wolves, they'll shoot the wolves! keeps the sheep safe. i think goats also help protect sheep

There's an upcoming game that revolves around a medieval era village. Look up "Banished" by Shining Rock software. It isn't out yet, but at least you can keep up with plenty of updates and previews till then.

At the end of this year the game Medieval Mayor is supposed to come out. Similar to Pharaoh and Emperor, but set in the Middle ages obviously.

Thinking about it. It would be good [for a country, city, or any area] to have more jobs then people. If you think about the push-pull factors that cause people to move, job is one of the major ones.

You can buy this game from good old games, works great with windows 7, and it only cost 5$. Played so much this game when i was younger, still beats most pc games today :P

I loved this as a kid so went and bought it the other day but it wont work on my Windows 7 pc.. Tried changing the compatibility, running as admin... Got it to install but when I try to play it it says 'Wrong Disk Inserted'. Anyone know how I can get it to work? I'm so sad!

Cant turn off individual buildings but u can shut down industries which he probally finds out later on in the playthrough.

actually noticed that the missions in Zeus were much shorter and easier to complete then the ones in Pharaoh. Perhaps im not as good at Pharaoh as I am with Zeus. But I noticed I could finish 2-4 adventures in Zeus a day versus only 2-3 city missions in Pharaoh.

crackshack2 They were "easier" due one crucial change from Pharaoh/Caesar series, and i mean industry and farms no longer required people living nearby (what was real pain to manage in earliest games) but were cover by the city as whole which made whole management lot easier.

Probably because it came out for Windows 95. It's an old game, so you might try DOSBox or something. I don't use 7 so I can't really help.

try running it with help of virtualbox or something like that, you need to install Windows xp in virtualbox and install the game on windows xp running on virtualbox. Good luck.

If your windows 7 also features windows XP, you should have no problem. If you do have a problem, check your p.c for the windows XP installation, and you can buy an updated X.P version o Master Of Olympus Zeus on Amazon I think really cheap...
