In truth the song is not properly a cumbia, even if it introduces some typically hispanic instruments. I would say it's a fusion between hispanic music, raeggeton, and tarantella. Another Italian artist has spelled a similar fusion, Alessandra Amoroso, here it is, feel the rhythm, halfway between the two genres, hispanic and tarantella.
