Well, Serbian is not my native language (but I learn it with love) and as far as I understand, it is about a certain obsession: instead of being satisfied with what is, you need to constantly look for something new, better, faster, a universal remedy for all the problems you have. You want to get it immediately, because all previous measures have failed. This desire becomes compulsive and that's why the artist asks the doctor, "Doctor, what's wrong with me? I'm constantly looking for new remedies for everything." Some commentators claim there are allusions or travesty of politicians' speeches in Serbia in the text, but I don't think Konstrakta wanted to be so explicit. I love this song, it makes me feel better.

She literally uses an election slogan of serbian ruling party - Brže, bolje, jače! Serbian president always promisses that will be better in just 2 years, and that’s his constant mantra for a decade. And guess what - never gets better. But he keeps promissing - EVO SAĆE (here it comes) - we are eternally in the line, waiting to get better, but never get there. Konstrakta sarcastically uses that slogan in her song, and political climate in Serbia is also one of the many layers of the song.

OK, from what misshippeia wrote, it seems that I misinterpreted the text and that it clearly refers to the current political situation in Serbia. My bad!

No, you’re not wrong, you hit the main point, but she’s also moking our politicians, using their official slogan and repeating it constantly (like we’re listening it last 12 years).

Hi from Serbia. Love your reactions! Starting with the title "Novo, bolje" (meaning "newer, better"), let's dive into a short analysis of the lyrics. While the title suggests a consumerist theme of desire for the latest and greatest, delving deeper reveals a subtle critique of the ruling party and authoritarian regime. Using their slogan "Brže, jače, bolje" (faster, stronger, better) and the common phrase "evo, sa'će" (it is coming), the singer builds layers of meaning. "Sa'će," often used to promise progress, here takes on a more ominous tone, hinting at empty promises and unfulfilled expectations. The lyrics portray a complex and contradictory mix of human ambition and restlessness. The endless pursuit of "better" can be seen as both a driving force and a source of dissatisfaction. The singer expertly weaves societal critique into everyday language, delivering powerful messages about societal norms and political realities. It's a continuation of "In Corpore Sano," and Knstrakta sees PZE's equal platform as the perfect fit for its message. While she doesn't expect Eurovision selection, the song's critique has already drawn criticism from regime-controlled media, further highlighting its power and relevance. As always it is so hard to interpret/translate Konstrakta"s lyrics. I hope this helps

Listening to this you really hear how Depeche Mode and others have influenced music all over Europe. Konstrakta is one of those artists that the more you hear the more you get into it yet it's not a weakness in the competition because the staging is so meaningful and engaging.

The lyric are, well, about Consumerism. Give us "New, Better"... More, more, more...

Hi there, I just love your energy while I watch your reactions. So the song is about Konstraktas as we all know using music in a artistic way to describe the world and life how it looks like true her eyes. In this song she was criticizing modern lifestyle and all the anomalies that we are currently living. She is asking a doctor a question: Doctor whats wrong with me and then she is focusing on consumerism explaining that she always needs NEW BETTER AND MORE....... and no matter how hard she is buying and upgrading she is always feeling like she needs NEW BETTER AND MORE.... She is giving a strong critic's but she doesn't remove herself from the SOCIETY. She is asking for doctors help cuz so many injustice wars suffering all over the world and people are ignorant and just think about their own life and forget about all others. She is asking for psychological help BUT DOCTOR IS TELLING HER THAT SHE IS TOTALLY FINE AND THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH HER cuz doctor is also part of that world and he is not understanding why she is complaining about anything cuz EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE AND NORMAL 😂 on the way back home she is trying to convince herself that she is so close to get true happiness and that she is almost there just FEW NEW BETTER THINGS AND SHE IS FINISHING SONG WITH SAME THOUGHTS and she is coming back to same pattern as all of us. Just WANTED MORE AND MORE NEW AND BETTER completely UNAWARE THAT SHE IS VICTIM OF CONSUMERISM

As usual, many have too shallow interpretation of Konstrakta lyrics. Of course, at first it's like she gives a critique of the ruling regime but it's much deeper - it targets capitalism and it's consumerism. Even the ending of the song shows that - we all want more, new, better and at the end we don't get satisfied, we don't have climax with all that spending or new partners or whatever...

great channel! I am definitely getting into eurovision mode now. At first I didnt like any of th song but one (Sasha Basha "Elektroljubav" ) but now getting into this. There are some good songs and it will be very interesting how will they perform live. Konstrakta had that quality to provide better live then studio versions so we will have to wait and see. Please give a chance to Sasa Basa & Virtual Ritual "Elektroljubav/electro love". it is very different than other songs we have in this year

The point of the song is -(Evo sace)-We all want something new, better, faster...well, it's coming, but it probably will never come! This( Evo sace )are really playful words in our language 😊 it could be that something is coming at this moment or as if you are waiting for something that cannot arrive(because of the material world in which we are live). Like a fake friend who encourages you in something that doesn't make sense, so say it (sace-just stay there and wait, it's coming to you)

In "In corpore sano" she is complaining about not having health insurance, and this song beings with her talking to a doctor. She's got health insurance now, but she wants something more each time she visits the doctor. The song can be generally interpreted about people always wanting more to "save themselves", but I see it also as a song about hypochondria. She always sees bad things (anomalies) and she needs/wants new and better drugs. People often use state of their health as some kind of alibi on why their lives aren't as good as they want them to be.
