So happy to see such a positive and thoughtful reaction from a fellow Brit. I was instantly hooked on this song, love the Pet Shop Boys vibes as an older Eurovision fan (I’m 58) Even grumpy husband who wasn’t all that impressed initially said he’s really starting to like it. My daughter aged 26 who generally prefers much more alternative stuff was humming it this morning. When I said “are you humming Dizzy?” she said it’s the only song she’s remembered straight off so far and actually really likes it too, reminds her of bands like Steps when she was little. I would say that’s a pretty good result, it’s quite clever that it’s going to appeal across the ages, and not all Eurovision voters are youngsters. Hope that gives a better opinion than just “I love it” which I do and so looking forward to seeing what Olly will bring to the live show ❤🇬🇧

In also proud of Ollys song Dizy for the uk, yes when i first heard it i wasnt impressed, but its 1001% a grower. However british pop normally doesnt resonate in europe. But definitely a contender 🇬🇧❤🇬🇧

The British music industry dumps all the terrible stuff on the Eurovision Song Contest. When Pete Townsend was developing the opening chord to I Can’t Explain, he was showing how Eurovision was already outdated and bourgeois. It has always been an establishment thing.

I’m proud of this entry and he will do uk proud regardless. Prefer this 100 times over Sweden’s entry
