I love Middle Grade March! I added a few of your recs to my list. I’m especially glad you mentioned loving the audio for Echo. Good middle grade audiobooks is why I came searching KZbin today and happened upon your channel 😍 I’m currently ready Book Scavenger and The Underdogs of Upson Downs and just finished The Very Nearly Honorable League of Pirates and really enjoyed it!

I always participate! MGM & Nonfiction November & Victober I’ve participated in for years! Long before my channel began. ❤ Keeper = missed out The Swifts is a Debut! Hollowox = 1 word I think Simon counts as a refugee story. So you just need an animal cover!

I LOVED Probability of Everything. Simon Sort of says was decent. I liked them both more than the Swifts 😜. Haven’t gotten to the others yet!

I LOVE Echo! The audiobook is very special because you hear the music. Yay Amari! I have meant to get to The Keeper of the List Cities for a while. All of your tbr sounds great (though I’m not a Morrigan Crow fan- unpopular opinion 😬). Happy middle grade March!

Yes - the audiobook for Echo was delightful! I will say I liked the second Morrigan Crow less than the first - but I’m hoping it was because I didn’t like the audiobook narrator and that the third one will be better!

Keeper of the Lost Cities definitely doesn’t have the mature writing style that some middle grade series do, and some of the pacing is just comical (like everything that happens in a two week timespan 😅) I’ve read 5, and I did like each one more than the last. It’s a fun world!

Haha I have definitely heard that it isn’t for everyone - I’m so curious to see how it goes for me! Very good to know that they get progressively better!

I forced myself through the first eight, but haven't gotten to the ninth yet! They're just SO long, and while I typically love long books, with these the length just makes them feel like they drag on forever 🫠

Thanks for the recommendations! I am having a really hard time finding books for my 13-year-old who wants books with no death and no kissing... It seems all YA books (and most middle-grade books) have one or the other. Sigh.

Part of the reason I started reading middle grade is so I could preview for my kids when they are ready!! I didn’t get to Hollow Pox or The Girl from Earth’s End but I can confirm there is no kissing in any of the others! Probability and Simon Says are pretty intense so I would steer her clear of those (although I loved them). Thanks so much for watching!
