Man I played this for the first time about a month ago and it destroyed me, watching the last 2 parts made me teary again, it’s so so good! I really hope ufotable makes an Anime out of this, this story deserves to be animated in the highest quality with the utmost care!

the ending was in English even in the original JP release, the music producer Kegani wrote this song with JP lyrics to self-publish in Comiket back in 2009 saying the inspiration for it was Tsukihime, so now Nasu got him to arrange it again and work on some music for the remake. The title for the original is Lost by【回路-kairo-】

And thus the Arcueid route comes to a close. I really liked your playthrough of this route and can’t wait for you to start the Ciel route. I would recommend listening to the soundtrack from the extras menu at some point because there are portions of some tracks that don’t play in the game. The track titled Tsukihime:re is my favorite track in the game and doesn’t actually appear anywhere other than the extras menu.

To be honest, this ending feels really bitter. Especially for us outliers who were hoping for something different in a remake, to really show nasus current skill in writing. But what i can say is that it definately felt true to the originals sentiments but enhanced, so it definitely filled nasus objective of feeling like the original. I of course cried. As for your comments about KT and such i feel like we dont really have any idea of the future of Tsukihime post red garden. I dont think a KT redo is in the cards. And melty already exists as a prequel rather than a sequel. I would hope Nasu has plans for expanding this side of the universe though especially after having gone through the effort of splitting the nasuverse between Fate and Tsukihime timelines, but its a mystery right now. All we know is the other heroines have their routes coming. On that note, enjoy Ciel route.

Some people dislike how this route feels so simple as a result of sticking close to the original compared to Ciel's huge update, but as an Arc fan I'm very satisfied. The route didn't need any major changes, and I'm okay with Ciel's being better. It's the first route, after all, it should be an introduction and it's very good at that. I just hope that this game won't be the last we see of Arcueid. I'm still upset that the original ditches her completely in the far side. At least let her have a role in Satsuki's. I kind of see the Principles as a similar concept to an Origin, a concept that represents a person's life, but for vampires it becomes a curse that taints the world and shapes their powers, kind of like Lio's in the final KNK movie. Not saying they're related, just that they're somewhat similar ideas. About the list, this is the first time we've had a full list of them even if some names are obscured, though there's been some changes from the original. Not as many as I expected, to be honest. The biggest change by far is the removal of Primate Murder entirely, no clue why. Number 1 is now The Dark Six, which was rank 2 before, the original Dead Apostle who was supposed to be the major antagonist in Tsukihime 2 according to Plus Disk (though that might've been a joke). There's also a really high chance that the Aylesbury ritual meant to revive it going out of control is the cause behind the Fate/Extra timeline existing.

I agree, after playing the original Arc's route was my favorite and I didn't think it really needed much changing but Ciel's desperately did and I'm so glad her character and her route finally got justice. Is it possible that Primate Murder is number 2 but they just switched the ranking?

I would honestly rather her not show up in sacchins route and take the spotlight away from her. Maybe a small cameo role. I'm still hoping for a true arc route that goes off the rails and does something truly different and special but I know it's just cope. Hell if some people can still hope for a fate route anime a true arcueid route isn't too much to dream about

Primate Murder was removed because...he never should've been on the list. His only relation to Dead Apostles is hanging out with one. People say Crimson Moon has to be number 2, but I disagree on the same grounds, including him on the list makes as much sense as including Arcueid herself on it. ORT only gets a pass this time because it probably absorbed an Idea Blood so it slips in on a technicality.
