Today I am making some redesigns of the main characters of the Ben 10 Cast. Ben Tennyson, Gwen Tennyson, Kevin Levin, Rook Blonko and Max Tennyson!

I have to say, I really enjoyed the thought processes behind making these redesigns and just the artwork itself - my favourite out of all of them has to be Rook’s - I love the way his Proto-Armour is done with that polished looking sheen, implying that it’s made of some kind of lightweight metal that would be very durable but still lets him retain his full agility and freedom of movement. His proportions are also really cool, the legs and arms being extremely long in comparison to his torso really sells the fact that he’s an alien, having a body type that while similar to a human being’s is still noticeably different and unique in its own right. Kind of like an uncanny valley effect, but in an aesthetically pleasing kinda way. Can’t wait to see the future redesign videos and also reading more of the tumblr Ben 10 rewrites as they come out too.

Personally I like the idea that yes Grandpa max is at the age he has to be careful but he just isn't like all those moments of weakness where he acts older is him just letting himself rest but most of the time he is working through the pains of old age. Dunno sounds kinda badass to me.

1.I want to keep a lot of the basic ideas of it, but making it work in a way that feels like it make sense in the setting, and less of the writings not knowing who to pick. In the end I have him with Julie, but they to break up for a while still, while Ben dates around for a while due to feeling lonely and struggling with his life, a bad way to cope. But him and Julie eventually get back together after they do some growing up. 2.Cats are territorial animals, and because of Rook's feline traits, it's enough for them to think he's another cat and that leads to them wanting him to go away. 3.I have a few notes on them, it depends by what you mean "how do they work?" 4.The babychills 5.Cats are territorial with each other 6.Xylene will be similar to canon just more added onto her story, and having her around Max a lot. And eventually she will get a design. 7.Villains will get redesigns, but some will be split for different videos based on what the context is. 8.Cats just be cats 9.Mostly adjusts and rewrites for parts of his story, like explaining more about who Aggregor is and how to keep Vilgax a consistent character without him getting boring. 10.It was tiring but good haha

@@elmundodekyky7335 Verdona is a little jealous of Xylene at first, but it's more out of being upset with herself being unable to make herself the person Max deserves. Like how Xylene can grow old with him while Verdona can't. As for the colour stuff, Verdona is a purple, and Sunny is hot pink. They can not change their colour, but anodites come in a range of neon colours. Though stuck with whatever they are born with.

Couldn't agree more with Ben's personality, l mean l don't know about you, but l don't imagine Ben purposely testing out the Omnitrix and brush it off the fact that his bud "Kevin" just got turned into a monster for a sec. He may be reckless, but he ain't a idiot or a dick. So yeah, after that scene, for me the series turned down hill. Also those designs look fire

while i enjoy this I won't lie a lot of artists make the big mistake of "he needs to be animated" so just overdetailing or giving them loose hair is gonna be a nightmare to animate but I'm happy gwen gets to look a little MORE animated in her drawing compared to her canon appearances

Well, sometimes I'm thankful for the algorithm feeding me actually good and nice content. Thanks for making the video and sharing you art and ideas ^^. Had a fun time watching it. I'm not too certain about the jacket Ben wore to be from his football team (or, I guess soccer to not make confusion) instead of from Gwen, but I still liked most of the ideas you came up with ^~^

Thank you! And ya I can get that, I had to think about that as well. But my reasonings come from the idea I could have Gwen give him other things elsewhere, and that I really like to see characters have dynamics with other groups and peoples we may not always see. It doesn't limit the social circle to just Kevin, Ben and Gwen if that makes sense. Plus him getting the jacket reflects how he now has friends, unlike his previous younger years in school.

8:00 Yes I agree with that the Osmosian Race is still flipping cool & lore and has alot of potential And I prefer if Omniverse keep that story lock and not change because UAF Talks about the Osmosians while Kevin's Retcon in omniverse is only mentioned once and not mentioned again And everyone knows the osmosians then kevin being a mutant & for one a mutant with absorbing powers will die if they try to absorb dna from multiple aliens or a God Alien which doesn't make sense its best if the osmosian race has the power to do that

You know, these concepts would honestly make the Chaquetrix version (literally just a meme a A.U) ten times more epic and interesting. It would make Ben have to grow up faster and be more friendly with people in order to properly command the aliens in serious emergencies. While also making this version of Ben and Max spend more time together to train to keep up with the likes of Villgax, Kevin, and other villains without the ability to transform into these creatures he commands. It would also give an interesting dynamic between the cousins as when Gwen learns magic, our boy is going to be jealous. Not that she has powers, but because she has powers that make her [in his opinion] useful as an individual, even though he probably wouldn't admit it. The fact that he is an attention seeker is something that would be depressing just a bit when all the aliens are doing the work on the surface, and he's kinda getting the Luigi treatment by others. Messing with his ego and making him feel like he has to compensate. Ben, Rook, and Kevin relationship would be interesting as they would start off hating each other from becoming brothers in arms and discussing girls and relationship troubles. The possibility is quite fascinating, to say the least. Especially when Granpa Max realises Ben follows him in the europhila spectrum for better and/ probably or for worse.

Yup! I like Lucy popping up in Omniverse and thought it would be fun to introduce her earlier, and she would fit right in with the plumber kids. And Max does not have his metal arm yet, I suspect that happens sometimes after Omniverse.

Glad the teen ben re-design keeps his hair and other-aspects from kid ben like his cargo trousers - the biggest issue with the actual alien force design is that it keeps basically zero aspects from kid ben - looking at him without context you'd think he was just some side character or something

I've always felt like the original version of the omnitrix felt the most alien to me, and wanted to make the watch still recognizable to it even as time goes on. It has it's differences up close, but I admittedly wasn't a fan of AF's version of the omnitrix too.

What is your custom omnitrix essentially a trix with something unique to it like the ultimatrix. Mine is the Alphatrix that does the same as the ultimatrix instead it simulates the DNA through the aliens natural environment becoming harsher as apposed to being in a war zone for a million years. This way the transformations would be natural and not artificially enhanced like the Ultimatrux

Eventually I want to do some redesigns of other series I am into. Such as Generator Rex, Secret Saturdays, and perhaps even things like HTTYD or MLP or even Tangled The Series maybe. I can't promise when things will happen, and Ben 10 will most likely be the main series I follow, but be on the look out for those down the line!

Notes are just fun little things to add to the characters, some serious, and some just jokes. Many are also nods to canon stuff. Pavophobia is the fear of peacocks lol
