Wow, just wow! You really got carried away on this one, Don! 😉 Never mind, “good as new”. This one’s way better than new, especially with that sand blast/epoxy primer. Also, FWIW, that first piece of music accompanying the fast forward assembly had me tapping my toe bigtime! 😂🔧👍

Replace the spindle brg and drill and install zert with inter cover removed will last 15 years at least Save money folks

That works. I usually do bearings instead of spindles, as long as the casting isn't broken.

Can you share a rough estimate on how much $$$ you have into it???

I did this unit a while ago, like most of my videos. I don't remember off the top of my head, but probably around $900-$1000

As always a great video and things look very clear. Expoy primer is there a advantage to using that. I do not know diddle squat about painting of any type. I have read that the John Deere LA Series we really high grade stuff. The new ones sure have gone low quality for sure.

The LA models are good tractors. Epoxy primer outlasts regular primer as long as the prep work is good. Like coating the steel in plastic.

Possibly. The dash and console are different. All the required parts are likely available from Deere. I'm sure they will cost lots of money though.
