I was there on the Saturday. It was my first Brony Convention, and it was at the panel about writing fan fiction (going on at the same time as the Magic is Witchcraft panel) that I first came up with the idea for my story, The Witching Hour. It was also thanks to that KZbin truck playing music outside that I got introduced to fan FiM music. I really loved that convention. Made sure to be able to get to BronyCon 2019 in honor of this memory.

This was one year before i join the fandom. Even though i never went to Bronycon, it still give me memories just by watching them. Heck, i use to watch Bronypalooza 2012 all the time because the party is awesome especially it was 100% all Brony and Remix songs at the time. I am not a brony anymore but MLP will always be in my heart. Also, RIP Everfree Network.

I started mlp just in 2015 as season 5 was barley being teased but when I heard of bronycon it's been a dream to go to even just one but...years later of watching the last bronycon...won't even be my first. Sure there are many more cons but still bronycon would've been such an experience but hey its still glad to see the fandom is still standing in its flames

Very similar experience with my first BronyCon in 2015. It's amazing to see that this television show has generated so much passion. I only know of a few other television shows, like Star Trek and Game of Thrones, that have come even close to this level of passion and dedication. It really puts things into perspective, especially with the literally thousands of other shows that are merely passively enjoyed by someone. It would be absurd to have a convention for, say, Home Improvement, and yet My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic generates enough interest and passion for thousands of people to all travel long distances to share their love of the show with fellow fans.

This is a con I really wish I could have attended. I didn't start going to cons until 2013 but these first 2 years for me in the fandom were still very much fun. I never got to meet any bronies then but just watching the videos and viewing the artwork and listening to the podcasts was enough to let me know it was real and it was out there. Now that BronyCon is ending, I hope the con-going scene still thrives very well in this fandom. I would personally love it if a fairly-sized con would return to the East Coast one day and use this venue. It seemed like a really fun place to be. :)

Hearing "Loves in Bloom" again in this video was a surreal moment for me. That was probably my favorite MLP song back in the day. I still remember watching the stream of A Canterlot Wedding on BronyStream and the endless Gak memes from all the commercials. It's strange to think that was 7 years ago now. I think I'm gonna go listen to the Season 1/2 songs now. Used to know them all by heart! Let's see how many I can remember! ;) /)

Awwwww I love this. This was my only Bronycon and I was only able to attend Sunday and I literally didn't know anyone there but I had such a blast. I was also right under the light fixture and I had just gotten up to leave right before it caught on fire. Celestia must have been protecting us lol. Yeah, the fire and Tara Strong saying that she "did a lot of 10-year-old boys" during a voice actor panel were the most memorable parts. 😂 Ponies the Anthology 2 was pretty sweet too. And I held onto my Rarity card. I still have it, along with a bunch of other rare cards. I wonder how much they would go for now...

Wow 2012 really was a big year for the bronies. I didn't join until the end January 2013 so I was pretty much at the back end of peak of its popularity. I do sort of wish I could go back to that time but it was also a turning point for my personal growth so to go back would be a reversion of that. What a time to be a part of geek culture though. Maybe because it was short but sweet that made it so special

The fandom didn't really boom until late 2011/2012. But 2012 was the fandoms prime, it was all the hype and very controversial on the internet that year. That's why the first ever bronycon was hosted in 2012.
