Just some information (Non-spoilers): The Gate Keeper Cerberus was between top B-rank and low A-rank and it was just the guard dog of the entire Dungeon. Also here, Jin Woo realized two things about the system. 1) being that the system wants to keep him alive, healthy through the blessing which grants him immunity to status debufs and increased regeneration and 2) it wants him to be strong as well through him killing actual humans, messing with his mental. Almost as if to see if he is able to do something so drastic. Which begs the question, why does system want Jin woo to be strong and well and what does it gain out of it? And what is the meaning behind the system itself. What is it? Where did it come from? Can’t wait for more episodes as A-1 Pictures is truly cooking big time with this series!

I’m ngl, I’m still in the mix about how I feel about this episode, because they changed the arrangement of when he took Kasakas poison glands (he originally took it after drinking the beer), and then extended the fight. this episode was great they changed 2 things in a way that makes sense and made the fight so much better and brutal than the Manhwa was. The changes are when he drinks the snake venom and when he learns about the elixir of life. In the Manhwa he drinks the venom right after he goes in his room learning about the detox and he learns about the elixir farther in the tower when he gets it but I dig the changes because they make sense to me. First with the venom it makes more sense to finally take the risk when its a do or die moment since he would be fucked a bit if it didnt detox. Second with the EoL showing it as a obtainable reward before he enters gives a nice motivation for going in before he levels up more since its to save his mother.

To clear up something about the dungeons and monsters ranks because I feel like people will keep getting confused with those: When a gate is classified as a certain rank, it doesnt mean that all the monsters in it are of this rank (so just because a gate is C rank not all monsters in it are C rank monsters). A gate is classified based on the *total amount of magic energy the monsters in it emenate* (its been mentioned in the first couple of episodes). For example a really big amount of E rank monsters + a D rank boss could make a gate C rank. And a small amount of D rank monsters + a C rank boss could also make a gate C rank. The ants in the C rank dungeon obviously were not C rank monsters (they were probably low D or E rank). But their huge numbers + the fact the the dungeon boss was a pretty strong C rank one, made the gate C rank. I hope this helps

This doesn't apply to JW's instance dungeon. The keys (and other items) only show the rank needed to obtain them. The first key was rank E even though the boss (Kasaka) was at least mid to high D rank.

Also Rasaka dropped an A rank potion even though he was D rank monster and Jinwoo that fought him was at about the same level. The items rank is unrelated with the monsters that drop them or the strength needed to aquire them.
